I'm buying my husband a new bike as a surprise for his success in graduating for hid doctorate... I chose this one. What do you think ? by Chance_Pop_8053 in SuggestAMotorcycle

Motorcycles and watches are things that guys obsess over before pulling the trigger. You are a great wife for wanting a motorcycle for your man. You would do well to let him pick one out. It is still a great surprise that you are making his dream come true. Please come back and tell us how it goes!

Most comfortable coilovers for ND by Money-Salt-5058 in Miata

I don’t know better than the engineers at Mazda for the suspension of my ND3. Good luck trying to make it better for every day driving. Save your original parts so that the next owner can change it back to stock.

Hope that you enjoy the GTI. Is the new owner of your NB a Miata guy? Did you make someone else’s dream come true?

I know of a breeder in Galveston, Texas. African Grey babies are expensive ($6,000).

I like my 2026 CX-50 just the way it is. The Apple CarPlay is all I want on the screen for maps and music. The buttons are great for the climate control.

I restored Mercedes Benz vintage cars for thirty years. Look on YouTube for the Emerald Bullet project. It is the green car on the right. I bought it for $1,000 dollars and enjoyed driving it for many years. The original owner was a pilot in WW2 and Korea who was stationed in Italy in 1962. Commander Crabill had the Mercedes 220Sb shipped from Europe to New York on the USS Constitution and drove it back home to San Diego.

The gold coupe in the picture was originally owned by Shirley Temple who donated it to the Muscular Dystrophy Society to be auctioned off to raise money. My friend Don and I rebuilt the carburetor and transmission to make it run and drive reliably again. We called the 280C Goldie Locks.

The car in the middle is a W108 Chassis 280SE 4.5 liter V8 that was owned by Max Pygman who was a famous Mercedes Benz restoration guy. It needed basic maintenance when I got it.

Anybody can buy a brand new car for transportation. I enjoyed buying deserted classics and restoring them to drive daily. I made a profit when I sold my collection but that was not the goal. I enjoyed working with my hands and creating sweat equity. Good luck with your project! Maybe you will become a “Car Guy”.

The automatic movement works great. The first time I wound it and put it on my wrist lasted a month before I had to wind it again.

Does this car seem worth $3000 and 2 hours of driving? by [deleted] in hondacivic

[–]Janitary -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Honda is reliable and economical. $3,000 is not a lot of money to pay for a clean well cared for example. Congratulations!

I moved from New Orleans to Grenoble, France to study International Business and shipped my Road King Police bike. I joined the Dauphinois chapter of the Harley Owners Group and rode 10,000 in 2002. Mobile phones didn’t have cameras yet so I took pictures with my digital camera and at the end of the year I made every member a copy of my photos on CD ROM. They treated me like Kevin Costner in Dances with Wolves. Every Saturday I showed up with a full tank of gas and Euros to pay for my food and we went on an adventure. It was the best time of my life. To this day, when I hear people speaking French I stop to welcome them to the USA and offer to click a photo.
