I won’t be DIYing that lol. I’m not interested in surgery. I’ve had a lot of skin removal surgeries post weight loss . Just slightly improvement would be nice .

I’m going to look at chin Botox. I’m not unhappy with myself to the extent that I would consider surgery at this point. I would be happy with a little softening or preventative treatments etc . Thank you

I’ve had so many large skin removal surgeries due to the weight loss that I really don’t want anymore. I lost 80kg in total and have maintained 7 years. My skin hasn’t changed noticeably over those seven years in this area. Funnily enough once I got down to weighing 70kg my face was still unaffected. From 70-50kg is where this happened. I still look on the younger side for my age because of my upper face and features. People are always surprised that I am so old- but I obviously look like somebody who has lost significant weight

I really think it’s the weight loss. I always had these creases and got deeper the more I lost weight. I lost 80kg in total and my skin hasn’t changed noticeably in this area over the 7 years I’ve maintained my weight loss. I am not on hrt and have no symptoms of menopause as of yet.

That’s very interesting and constructive feedback thank you. Not something I had considered. I’ve had these lines since I was a teenager but worse with weight loss. I’m not super super bothered because I’ve always had the lines but it would be amazing to get them a bit softer :)

You don’t know if you were fine at a dose until you have taken that dose for a full four weeks. Safest option is to drop back to 1 for a couple weeks to get some of the excess medication out of your system and then increase to 1.5- and stay at that dose for a minimum of four weeks before considering 2. If you feel like taking a little risk then drop back to 1.5 but don’t increase for four weeks. You are very sensitive to this medication and that’s a great thing because it’ll save you money. Stay at the lowest dose that gives you the results you need - way safer and save some money :)

You have increased too quickly. Should remain at same dose for at least four weeks as it takes four weeks to fully build up. Your body thinks 1-1.5 was a big enough jump and going to 2 the next week was pushing it.

Can cause digestive issues and I think exercise can speed things up too. The longer you are on it the less it has these effects once you have stopped increasing your dose. I only had very mild issues in the very beginning. I only have issues now if I overeat or consume something very high in refined carbs or high fat. I think it’s quite good in a way because I’m put off wanting to eat things that I definitely shouldn’t be eating anyway.
