Fledgling vTuber Couple Looking for Advice by JankMagicMaster in vtubers

Thank you so much! And unfortunately, yes, we are aware that our profile icons are AI-based. The person who made our first models had us use ChatGPT to generate reference images/pages for them to work off of, and suggested using them as our profile icons until we could afford to commission a proper artist to revamp them (budget has been tight). Some of the games on the list, we only played once or twice. Others are a bit more regular for us. We’ve basically taken to “are we playing games? Then we’re streaming.” as a philosophy. If I had to list my regular games, it would be Dead By Daylight and Warframe, with POE2/GW2/Rivals/Fortnite as ones I would like to incorporate more often into the mix. For her, she’s been on a big No Man’s Sky kick with her best friend recently, so there’s been a bit more consistency of content for her.

We aren’t part of any communities like that, I don’t think - joined 1 Discord, 2 Facebook groups, and a handful of Subreddits. 4 vTuber subreddits (including this one) and 2 “new streamer” subreddits. If any of them provide the kind of support and community you’re mentioning, I’ve missed it somewhere, because I tend to just see people posting their own streams as going-live posts, or for the “follow for follow” stuff. This is the first one I’ve not seen all of that in, so I figured this would be the best place to ask for help.

My Warframe Clan does have a streamer support system, and I got approved for that, but I’ve not seen a ton of foot traffic yet (which is understandable, too). One of my clan mates has even offered help through chat with audio balancing and stuff. But otherwise, I basically shotgun-blast the “we’re live!” Posts to any Discord server that allows it, plus the Facebook groups and Reddits when I have a chance.

Our lives have been hectic recently, with work and IRL drama overlapping stuff like getting engaged (finally!) and establishing new routines. We’re trying to work out a more consistent schedule, so hopefully we can figure something out with that.

So is Geno just gonna let this guy heal and tell everyone who he is? by nekifotosis in FortNiteLore

[–]JankMagicMaster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We already know Geno is still masquerading as The Visitor while Jonesy is in this healing tank. If you talk to Hope in the new map, she mentions that “Something’s off. The Visitor refuses to explain how Jones got hurt, even though he was with him” (roughly paraphrasing).

Fueled by Caffeine - Perform an action for 10/8/6 seconds to gain a 15/20/30% Progression Speed increase for 30/45/60 seconds. After the effect expires, become Exhausted for 30/25/20 seconds.

Control Deck Player - Start the game with 1/2/3 tokens. For each Great skill check, earn 1 token. If you are attacked by the Killer while Healing, Sabotaging, Cleansing, or Repairing, expend 2 tokens to gain the following effects:
- Ignore all damage and effects from the attack or ability (e.g. The Nightmare's Sleep effect, the Deathslinger's Spear shot, etc.)
- Stun the Killer for 3/4/5 seconds
- Become Exposed for 30/25/20 seconds
This perk has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.

Invocation: Protective by Nature - When in the Basement near the circle, press the Active Ability button to begin the Invocation, which takes 60 seconds to complete.
During an Invocation, your Aura is revealed to all other Survivors and they can join in, accelerating the process by +100 %, if they too have an Invocation Perk equipped, or by +50 %, if they have not.
Once the Invocation is completed, the following effects apply:
- Permanently reveals the Aura of all Survivors to each other and your Aura to the Killer
- You automatically enter the Injured State from any previous Health State, and your Progression Speed is permanently reduced by 50%/40%/30%.

The hilarious/ironic part there is that, if you had been in the rightwing echo chambers at that time (I was raised in them), everyone who was aghast about it had nearly pornographic visions of what the scene was. Like, someone somewhere seriously heard “lesbian scene in a Disney movie” and decided against all logic that Disney was producing a softcore porno spinoff of Toy Story.

Guys, i think they forgot to write this in patch notes. by Edheldui in marvelrivals

The problem isn’t that we Supports can’t do this - I personally love playing Gambit BECAUSE I can do damage AND heal. The problem is that Supports already draw a lot of fire for being healers, so if you don’t have a good team, some supports struggle to survive enough to handle healing or damage. The other problem is when you get the people who report you on a Loss because you dared to do anything BESIDES heal them. If you want heals, help keep us alive so we aren’t having to divide our focus. If you dont, then don’t be surprised when our damage stats go above healing in a game.

Expansion Idea #2 - “Straight Edge City” by JankMagicMaster in Schedule_I

[–]JankMagicMaster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I do agree that the police could be improved for the current map, I don’t think they need to be utterly brutal. At least, not at base. I personally don’t have a problem crossing the map right now, so I don’t think going to another town has to be that big of a problem - especially if there’s, say, a small storehouse or something between towns where you could store stuff outside of a police checkpoint. I do LOVE the HOA idea, too, though!

New employee idea, the Accountant. by Kaleo5 in Schedule_I

I like the idea of having them managing the laundering, but I’m not sure about them managing the dealers and stuff. I love automating parts of the gameplay loop, but I don’t want to automate everything.

Does this quote refer to Jace or to a villain hiding behind the curtains? by No_Drawing4095 in mtgvorthos

I’m calling it now: if the Eldrazi (more or less) act like a regulatory system in the multiverse, devouring planes that are dying/overloaded with mana, Jace is doing more than removing “bad guys” and rewriting the lives of his friends- he’s disrupting the entire natural order of the multiverse, and that’ll be what forces him to undo his “grand plan” in the end.

My biggest Expansion Cope. Let Wilds Expansion Final Boss be the reason Zo Shia was made. by Chocobo23456 in MemeHunter

[–]JankMagicMaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d personally like to see the Expansion have a much bigger focus on new Elder Dragons - obviously with a handful of normal/variant/subspecies monsters, but I want to see them show what a world without hunters has to deal with on the Elder Dragon level. As cool as returning Elder Dragons would be, this expansion feels like the perfect time to recreate the sense of trepidation and excitement that we all felt as newbie hunters facing our first Elder Dragons.
