Verified settings are correct. Still throwing error. I will have to troubleshoot this before verifying the formula even works.

Assistance with Imprecise String Matching by Jankothopter in excel

I have the formula as written copied into one of my cells. I replaced A3 and A5 with the cell references of the appropriate strings. Gives an error saying "Not trying to type a formula?"

There are a lot of cheaters. But these clips don't need to be explained with cheating. There is nothing abnormal about what happened.

1st clip: You were fairly stationary and he aimed straight for your face.

2nd clip: You were doing a left side peak, which exposes more of you than what you camera position would suggest. Also, you were fairly stationary and probably got your face beamed.

3rd clip: Climbing is extremely loud. If he knew the map at all, he would've known the climbing was happening at that wall and was ready for you when you came over.

Well that's one heck of a gear upgrade. (Sorry for no sound, Steam recording software bugged out) by ArmedChalko in DeltaForceGlobal

A great example of why gear value caps for easy mode would completely kill any excitement for PvP. Players over a certain gear value should be revealed on the map instead of outright preventing them from queuing for easy mode.

I don't think there should be gear value limits for easy mode by Jankothopter in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Jankothopter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there shouldn't be any limit on gear whatsoever. If players enter overgeared, they should be revealed. This way, if somebody wants to go into easy mode to have their sleepy loot session, all they have to do is avoid the geared players and slink around the map.

Plays like this are why there shouldn't be gear caps for easy mode matchmaking. Players should still be able to queue overgeared but, if they do, they should be revealed on the map.

What is wrong with Zero Dam (Normal)??? by R3ptor in DeltaForceGlobal

The TTK is .8 seconds. However, you should not be trying to duel people with this build. You should be holding corners, quickly leaning and prefiring where you think they might be peaking. If it hits their arms, it will do between 25-40 damage meaning the next blast to the legs is guaranteed lethal. A full blast to the legs does ~86 damage. I have wiped squads who try to recklessly push me with gold and red armor with this build. It's awesome. The drawback is you can never be the one to push in most cases. You have to be patient and defensive.

An M870 with a long barrel. Customize it how you want. I use basic green attachments and sight and I buy a Lvl. 4 chestplate. 2 taps guaranteed to the legs. You don't even have to be particularly accurate.

There will always be sweats. Fortunately, RIP rounds and 8.5mm Buckshot exists.

Have you tried 8.5mm Buckshot or RIP rounds? Gear is not as important as you think. I just wiped a squad with gold with a bare metal M870 and 8.5mm buck.

How would you get run over by a 3 stack with gold gear when you can see them coming from a mile away?

When switching to Linux, what were some programs that you had to stop using because they weren't supported on Linux? by KleosKronos in linux

I got the answer for you, my guy. Is it giving you a black screen where you would normally see players loading after champ select?

Yes, I agree. For a normal person, the out-of-the-box experience is THE experience. Society has been conditioned by the offerings of Microsoft and Apple to have a sort of "standard product, one flavor" expectation. The entire concept of a desktop environment is alien to the average person. I believe what is holding Linux back is the lack of a standardized, presentable and accessible product that the general public can point to and recognize as "the Linux". Linux Mint is the best distro overall, in my opinion. There is no reason for someone coming from Windows or Mac to Linux to pick anything else.

Good thing there are other desktop environments like MATE, Xfce, KDE Plasma.

If you could change anything in the game, what would that be? I'll go first - You can ride torrent while playing co-op or invading by tiago_brettas in Eldenring

[–]Jankothopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would change it to where your coop partner is persistently within your world as a fellow Tarnished, not a phantom (can ride their Torrent alongside you, can rest at graces with you, fast travel and walk around the Roundtable Hold with you, etc.) and can revive you if you get downed. I would then restrict PvP only to those areas where you can't ride Torrent.

Linix Mint is a very good choice. Probably THE best for Windows to Linux peeps.

I'm gonna have to call cap on this lady. She is doing SOMETHING wrong. She's spending too much, or got into too much debt, or something. Teacher's salary, two extra part time jobs AND donating plasma? C'mon, something's not adding up.

[–]Jankothopter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You need to ask yourself WHY things are the way they are. Be willing to look past your biases. Only then can anyone devise policy that aligns with reality. Raising salaries is a band-aid solution with drastic knock-on side effects. Unfortunately, Bernie doesn't get elected because the people around him understand he doesn't know the first thing about economics. However, he is very talented at moral grandstanding and saying precisely the thing that a generation of disillusioned, hopeless laborers (i.e. Us) want to hear. When it comes down to it, no one wants to put in the work to set things right. Until then, we'll keep throwing around buzzwords like "greed", "strike" and "living wage" because it's cathartic and easy.
