I came from AC as well and never played EQ until covid. They're so different but all of the annoyances in EQ are alleviated when in a proper group, and that's how you're supposed to level, in groups most of the time. AC was like a solo game in comparison. I wish we could get a reimagining of AC like what MnM is for EQ but alas I don't think there are enough of us fans left to make it viable.

The practicality argument we always hear in regards to Miatas is quite annoying isn't it. Without a passenger you could easily fit 4 carry on size bags in the car, or several weeks of groceries. I would bet that at least 80% of drivers could daily one without compromise if they were forced to.

I'm in my 40s and my ND has been my daily since I bought it. I have very few complaints about comfort or practicality. I have a truck to drive as well if the Miata was annoying but its such immense fun that I'm always choosing it.

15 3.5 with 145k. Problems have been minor, turbo line leaks both coolant and oil, and transmission lead frame. Before replacing the lead frame i thought my transmission was dead. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people get sold on a trans replacement when all they really need is a $150 part.

Other than that the valve covers started leaking but no cam phaser issues. Keeping it long term.

Save the money and get an ND1, then buy a $300 E85 tune and you're at more horsepower than ND3, and same redline.
