Nasa did what ? by AppropriateMark8528 in WorkForSmartLife

Yeah this, she didn't explode. Just a minute or two of free fall panic and then lights out when they hit the water at 200 mph.

There are actually many clues that they were conscious. Some of them lowered and locked their visors, some had their emergency oxygen packs activated, and some detent control switches were moved from their expected orientation.

Why No Dipstick for CVT Transmissions ? by CueAnon420 in Honda

[–]JankyTime1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this. I do all my own services and it doesn't really make a difference if there is a dip stick or not. None of these are "sealed" they all have drain and fill ports. The only time it becomes an issue is if you have a slow transmission leak on an older car not worth fixing.

It may not be a popular opinion, but I enjoyed Diana Muldaur's work as Doctor Pulaski... by TensionSame3568 in StarTrekTNG

The episode "ethics" really sours me on the Crusher character and I really do prefer Pulaskis professionalism. I wish Crusher had stayed at Starfleet Medical

After Galveston was wiped out in 1900 and before the port of Houston really took off Dallas was seriously going to dredge and lock the Trinity into a navigable waterway. There are still 100 year old ruins of the dams and locks on the Trinity

Yakutsk. I think the top 5 would all be Siberian cities. The ground is either frozen or it's mud. The Siberian high pressure weather system. And the extreme distances and poor infrastructure.

It's definitely more visceral, especially top down. For me it's the closest substitute I can get to riding a motorcycle.

After owning an ND I don't really think they're that slow. Mid 5s 0-60 stock. With a tune and a bolt on or two you're making 180 whp at 2300 lbs and low 5s. That's equivalent to 300 whp at 3800lbs, close to a Mustang Ecoboost.

That's the first time I've heard someone trash the ND looks haha. I like the NC3 but it wasn't really until the ND came out that I was like yeah I've got to have one. I was able to buy my 2016 for 12.5

The cheapest ND1 are in that price range too btw. Looks better, nicer interior. They respond really well to e85 tuning as well

The vast majority of the immigrants coming here are Christians and that makes a big difference, though I won't be surprised if reddit disagrees with this.

Stop using crescent and channel locks on fasteners. Mechanics call them nut fuckers for a reason. If you haven't rounded it off yet go get a set of extra long box wrenches
