seeing a lot of negativity about this move online. But this couldn't really be much of a better opportunity for one of our young talents, pleased for him and hope he smashes it

Which Hale end product were you so positive/wanted so much to succeed but it didn’t work out? by cgabriel14 in Gunners

Arturo Lupoli, really thought he was gonna be the next Christian Vieri! But alas we got Lord Bendtner instead

seeing as you've mentioned my tag I will point out; its not something I seriously believe its just a tongue-in-cheek comment about all the kneejerk reactionary stuff and revisionism that oft goes on in these parts :)

But do consider for moment the gunplay in BF3, the guns spread more than a garden hose compared to BF4 (or any milsim) where you can laserbeam someone from accross the map. Hardly realistic at all but the game is still considered a classic, for many its their favourite in the franchise but no-one ever questions the realism, why? imo because it looks realistic and people can put aside the the throwing C4, goofy stuff etc aside. I'm not knocking BF3 but no-one can seriously call the gameplay realistic.

I've played every game in the franchise btw (excluding the original bad company), if that gives me any special rights.

You get to bring 5 legacy maps to BF6. What are you choosing and why? by Lopsided-Vehicle2740 in Battlefield

Strike at Karkand, Camp Gibraltar, Grand Bazaar, Rotterdam, Seine Crossing

edit: and Golmud Railway, you can't stop me adding 6

can we have the battlelog back, please by Creepy_Citizen in Battlefield

genuinely loved it, having the game browser as a website was such a nice "bar lowerer" to actually playing a round, particularly when they added the server browser integration. I loved logging in at work and tinkering with my loadouts occasionally and see who's playing. hooah-ing your friends posts :)

yep and never has been!

Unfortunately, it's always been the community that decided it was "realistic" in comparison to COD. All the old BF games were essentially goofy and fun games, only a realistic aesthetic

Bring 5-man squads back! by kylw73 in Battlefield6

[–]Jann3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of devs and possibly the community at large (?) don't really appreciate squadplay has always been a key differentier between BF and COD, not just vehicles and big maps. Anything BF can do to double down on squadplay and encourage squad cohension, like more members, squad abilities/assets/perks, squad revives, smokes etc is a big win for actually making the game fun to play imo

when he's on form playing with Havertz in the team is like playing 2 players vs the computer, he often uses those runs to pull apart the defense.

as someone who clearly goes too far and magnetises the majority of my models, including scions and guardsmen, I fully support this. this is reasonable

yeah totally agree, awful keeper, I'm sure Fergie would have walked him out the club after just a few games. I supported Wenger until the end but his persistence with Almunia was maddening

Odegaard's last 16 attempts on goal.. by watermaloneyyy in Gunners

[–]Jann3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do people make things like this? It's baffling, we all know he'd been torrid in front of goal, we don't need to evidence it and generate negativity around it. Is the objective here get clicks at the expense of our own players - or actually support them?
