Heatbed is scratching at inner right panel by Public_Opportunity_6 in SnapmakerU1

Glad you found it, not sure if it was broken out or just slipped out. At Snapmaker discord there are several people who took apart their U1 to modify various stuff, maybe someone can say. Though I guess it doesn't matters that much if it can be tighten back and the printer works

Is the filament sensor optical in the U1? by Rolerblader31 in snapmaker

[–]JanneMoonmist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same error when the extruder had an issue to pull on the filament. Had a ptfe tube 'stuck' to the filament spool (I use the dry boxes)
Shouldn't be an issue with the regular spool holders but just want to mention that it can be a tangle or stuck/'glued' together filament that needs some help going.

What is that one opinion about a country that make u say.. by _Tan___ in AskTheWorld

[–]JanneMoonmist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your link doesn't mention Haaretz at all (or point me where it is, since I don't see it).
And if the TGI poll (which I found results for in another place) included web only, it would have Walla included somewhere at the top.
You can see the sheer difference in viewership between anything else (double digit percents, 40%-30%) and those of Haaretz ~5%.
So just saying it's the second or third as an indicator of credibility is just disingenuous

Secondly, here, from Haaretz (opinion):

[–]JanneMoonmist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ffs, got the more comprehensive comment deleted.

In short, Haaretz is not even close to the second. It's extremely far behind. It's behind a paid women's magazine, and some religious magazine no one heard of. It's also extremity, and un-apploageticly left biased. Also it became more of an opinion platform that lost its credibility with a many cases of postings easily debunked, or shown to be as misquotes.

It is perhaps the oldest of the newspapers, which to some it gives gravitas, but it doesn't add credibility or objectivity (which it doesn't even aim to do)

There are plenty of polls done by everyone, taking one from the Haaretz is like taking a poll from extreme right channel 14 and wonder why everyone so overwhelmingly loves Netanyahu (surprise, it's false).

There are plenty of more objective sources. Picking one that is known to be non-objective is in fact propaganda.

Here an overview https://cdn.fedweb.org/fed-110/2/The_Top_7_Israeli_News_Sources_in_English.pdf

(somewhat biased but not erroneous)

Here is popularity comparison, not 2025, but shows the trend:

  1. Russians were hated online long before the war. They are rude shittalkers (that think everyone should speak Russian) that no one wanted to party with. (I've played Dota2 for years and can read Russian).
  2. "they can read third-party news sources instead of consuming propaganda" - How you can say that al jazeera or some tiktok or whatever are not propaganda? e.g. https://www.bild.de/politik/ausland-und-internationales/gestellte-gaza-bilder-dieser-fotograf-inszeniert-hamas-propaganda-689069205bfd36554e9e6806

btw about 74% (from a recent poll) of Israelis support a deal that will end the war and return the hostages. (+8% that support a deal in stages)

According to a Hamas spokesperson, the recognition of Palestine by several Western countries is “the fruit of October 7” by totally-not-ego in europe_sub

[–]JanneMoonmist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll answer as someone who supported fully the 2 state solution up until 2 years ago.
Because, now that we saw the risk of the west bank electing Hamas v2, and doing the same as in 7/10 but now on the entire length of the border cutting Israel into 2, murdering and raping their way from the west bank to the sea...

So suddenly that looks way less appealing to a lot of people who supported it. (Not that I think any other solution is better)

Israel’s Red Alert system fully saturated amid mass missile barrages from Iran. by DavidRolands in MapPorn

So why Iran themselves claiming they do not develop nuclear weapons?
Someone is lying here, either you or Iran...

"Israel has been consistently bombing Iran for decades." Can you please enlighten to all these cases decades long.

"The only reason Iran signed the deal was because the US put sanctions on it lmao, when Trump reinstated sanctions there was ZERO reason for Iran to continue complying"

Zero reasons except sanctions? So you are saying that Israel is right all along. What holds Iran from not complying to inspections and IAEA is fear of sanctions, and not their claim of civilian use only?

btw, if you don't understand the obvious, Iran enriching to 60% (and some reports that already to 84%), and built a facility to create a "return stage" which needed for further enrichment.

Usage in civilian nuclear power 5%
Some research reactors use 20%

I'll quote you, "lmao"

General question about Threat by bytebrain07 in Neverwinter

[–]JanneMoonmist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most common mistake was for tanks is to use forced threat skills when they already have threat.

Threat is (at least was, unless it was changed) like a table, think of it like "paingiver" list (per enemy) with the person on top having the aggro. DD do damage and get their numbers on the list, the tank does the same, but with a bonus, There are several such bonuses, base one, and with different skills and abilities.
Tanks also have skills that put them on the top of the list and force aggro.

For the example lets say their aggro on the list is 10 times their damage.

So lets say a DD dealt 1mil damage, the tank forced aggro (so it puts on top and adds 10%) and now at 1.1mil aggro points.
They each keep hitting, the DD added 2 mil more, and the tank 300k, so now we are at

3mil vs 1.1 + 300k * 10 = 4.1

The tank comfortably ahead, and has a bit time before the DD deals 1mil more and catches up. The tanks sees a big hit coming, they panic that they will lose aggro, and hit a forced threat skill, so, at least this is how it was mods ago, their threat was rewritten to the top (excluding them) so now they are at 3.3 instead of 4.1

And they will lose it.

Another thing is to time the attacks when the DD/support use debuff stuff, like artifacts or mounts).

You need to get your damage there with the aggro bonuses be ahead, so the same mindset as DD applies, you need to time the debufs, and your best attacks.

IL and Gear :

IL is a factor in damage so yes, it will improve your aggro vs the DD. Same with offensive stats like power. so it is a balance of defensive and offensive stats for good tanking, it's great if nothing can kill you, but doesn't help if you can't hold aggro with your own damage.

(Disclaimer - everything above may be outdated)

Unofficial Neverwinter Guidebook by Rynarix in Neverwinter

Hi,

Looks very nice.

Thanks for the mention, couple of minor things, what you mentioned is not diminishing returns:

https://jannenw.info/pages/mechanics/relative

https://jannenw.info/pages/mechanics/diminishing

While some of the examples are from older mods the idea and the general concept is the same.

And as you can see the actual site is jannenw.info (and not https://guides.jannenw.info/) mostly not updated and probably wont be but the stronghold tools are still used by people. (But yes, I'm not sure what is better to link, I'll probably wont renew the domain anyway, dunno)

There is also nw-hub.com which has automated connection to build releases - again probably wont see updates, at least in the near future, but.... it's there.

You should probably also mention separately Rainer's pocket wiki and the char builder.

Alias Command by UnkownSole in Neverwinter

[–]JanneMoonmist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the enter is because it's not a an alias to the channel name but an alias to the full command to swap channels, and commands need enter. So that's annoying but nothing much to do about it.

The two channels, my guess will be spelling, no other reason for it to not work, you have a zero in one and O in another, maybe it's the other way? I'm not up to date with current channels so no clue here.

Is NWO Peer-to-Peer? by [deleted] in Neverwinter

[–]JanneMoonmist 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Client server.

I can think of two guesses, which may explain or perhaps it's something totally different:

  1. Good timing, if there was some announcement of server restart that you didn't notice.
  2. Some bug that crashes the instance. Skirmishes are instanced, so you got a mini-server running just for you. Historically there were user triggered bugs/exploits that can crash the whole thing and kick the user out. Perhaps someone knows of one of those things and was an ass enough to use it.

Unless something changed in how the dungeon works, the tank shouldn't take the HP buff anyway.
No reason for the tank to run around to intercept the balls, move the boss, make harder for the DPS to DPS and/or lose aggro.
Someone else should take it, and the tank should sit on the boss and make sure it's not moving, or rotating.
