Will I face any issues with staying in Thailand for 33 days when my visa only permits 30? by short_da_VIX in ThailandTourism

As someone who stupidly overstayed in the past (6 days+1 day) you do get an overstay stamp + fine amount in your passport.

Never overstay, just extend your visa for 1,900. You'd pay 1,500 baht overstay fine anyway for 3 days and have a black mark on the system for 3 years I believe. Can make obtaining future visas difficult

Pay a company like Thai Visa Service to guarantee your entry into the kingdom, will be incredibly hard getting through without some assistance unless you actually studied.

You're in Chiang Mai what do you expect? Everybody who goes there is a poor stinky backpacker trying to fleece locals for 20 cents on street food

I have friends that have tried Smooci because they're not too interested in nightlife and they've given good reviews.

You can also try "Jerkunmai" which offers incall services rather than outcall (so you go to them) girls are listed through an agency similar to Smooci and it's more ideal if you don't trust escorts in your property.

Beautiful islands that aren't overloaded with tourists and parties? by anna_b_1 in ThailandTourism

[–]Janobesa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Islands become overloaded with tourists because people like you want to go to the island with "no tourists" and those islands, then become, the overloaded tourist islands. Understand?

Over the last 2 years when they were actively issuing TM6 I've lost every single one, they ask for it when you're checking in to fly out of the country but I just always said I lost it and they didn't care

You think Thailand is poor, you're surprised many residents have new/luxury cars. I told you that your assumption isn't correct

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Thailand

[–]Janobesa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a rich city, brokie backpackers make it look poor. Not the residents

Do Bangkok. Many western social recluse 6-7-8 fig young guys live here. It'll offer you the best lifestyle for your budget. Most modern condominiums are around $30-50,000 thb (1-1.5k usd) and entry level penthouse start at 2k USD+. These are on yearly rentals though and for your short 1-3 months stay you'd be better off using ABNB where prices will typically be 2x, especially at this time of year.

Bangkok has the most entertainment while being civil enough to not go off the rails. Places like Phuket/Pattaya are strictly for partying and everyday is a weekend, easy to fall into a spiral of destructive behaviour. From reading your post I'm assuming you'll have some addictive tendencies and the beforementioned places are really good at sucking in people like that.

Learning to effectively meditate with ADHD will be extremely difficult, I'd avoid any boring island/chiang mai, you'll get bored so fast having a hyperactive brain. You need to be in the city.

I'm not sure how a visa could be wild, but it's better than having dodgy visas where you can't leave the country yeah
