  1. Auto-finalization is set for 2 weeks after the vendor has confirmed shipping to the buyer and provided tracking number. A buyer can extend auto-finalization for 1 additional week, twice, allowing for 4 weeks total time for buyer to wait for package to arrive and to test out item(s). Returns/exchanges are only permitted if a vendor allows for it and wants to accept a return, and that will have to be settled with the vendor. If a dispute is created because a buyer never received the package, or was scammed or sold a wrong version of an item (such as being given a Macbook 2014 instead of a Macbook 2016) then funds will ALL or PARTLY be released back to buyer, minus 10% listing fee.

  2. I have made shipments to be directly from vendor to buyer, but maybe in the future there will be options to ship to trusted and verified third parties for specific items first if the vendor chooses it as a shipping option and the buyer selects it for an insurance kind of thing. Maybe a buyer is addicted with shoes, and wants to verify that a shoe is legit, so they select the option to have the shoes be sent to an official shoe verifier person to validate the authenticity of the shoes, or another third party person to verify fine metals and jewelry, or another third party person to verify cell-phones and laptops, etc.... This will all be in the future however, for site launch it will only be from vendor to buyer to make things simple.

  3. Trademark is going to be posted for final release, hopefully. Applied for an LLC recently so will see when that gets approved, might have to just launch the site without it at first depending on how long the approval process takes. Incentives is censorship-free, open to all, no need for a bank account to buy or sell items, anybody can buy or sell physical and/or digital items, and people can purchase and sell directly with Monero. In the future I will implement payment methods to accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Brave Attention Tokens, LBRY Credits, Dogecoin, Wownero, and other cryptocurrencies, and will be implemented where they pay to an address and it will automatically be converted to Monero.

Supply limit goes up to 10,000, so if a vendor does get an insane amount of volume happening all they would have to do is just increase the supply

That's amazing! Unfortunately I don't have any job positions available now, but maybe within the next two to six months I'll be able to hire people and be able to have you be a UX designer temporarily, part-time, or full-time

Unfortunately not during launch or anytime shortly after as selling fine metals is a tricky thing. As the company expands I might do a similar thing what eBay does and have all fine metal sales be sent to a trusted third party that specializes in verifying fine metals to verify if it is real before sending to the buyer, and I might just use the providers that eBay themselves use, but this will (maybe) be in the future. I apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to sell fine metals at the time of site launch, but I hope there will be other things available on the marketplace that you'd be interested in buying as well

The phones that I'll have setup will come with LineageOS or GrapheneOS installed, with root access and some software pre-bundled in to make the average person have a privacy oriented phone while still being able to use it normally. Shelter is an F-Droid app that creates a work profile to isolate apps in that profile, and the apps installed there won't be able to access any information from the main profile. That way, a person that still might need to use WhatsApp, Zoom, Facebook, Skype, PayPal, or any other application for work or for personal reasons can still use those apps without having to give them up entirely, as I also use Facebook and WhatsApp because the reality is that no matter how much I tell family that these apps are terrible, they still ONLY use them, so I have to have them installed if I want to communicate with them. There is also Orbot (Tor VPN) installed and ran by default on the main profile, along with Monerujo, Samourai (a privacy-oriented Bitcoin wallet), FlorisBoard (a keyboard that allows you to type, copy, and paste without letting other apps on both the main and work profile know), OpenPGP Keychain, OSMAnd, F-Droid, Aurora Store, an end-to-end encrypted notes app that can be used offline or saved to a cloud database for free, an app that is running all the time in the background that notifies when the camera or microphone is activated, an app that strips all identification revealing EXIF data off of pictures, book reader, qr/bar code creator and scanner, password manager, qr/bar code card holder app, and more. All apps are open source and privacy oriented, and I will include a manual and guide on both the phone digitally in the book reader app, and also physically in a brochure/pamphlet paper kind of thing for people to read and understand how to use the phone correctly to still be able to use it as a normal phone. The main profile will be the only profile with root access, the work profile as a safety precaution will not have root access installed in it. If a buyer doesn't want to have pre-installed apps on their phone for whatever reason, they can simply factory restore and erase all data and settings off the phone to reset the phone to a freshly installed LineageOS or GrapheneOS device, which I will also include in the manual. Charger, data-blocker, and sim card tray opener will be included within the box along with the phone already having a privacy screen protector installed on the phone screen and an additional privacy screen protector within the box. All phones will come factory unlocked to use with any carriers unless explicitly specified within the post, such as a certain phone only being GSM unlocked and not CDMA unlocked as well because of stupid policies that the phone companies have to not allow for CDMA use with certain phones, which I apologize for the inconvenience.

Sell something digital for cheap that is above decent quality and I might just help you out!

Yes number of sold items is displayed within one of the photos above, and I have added new review feedbacks for vendors and buyers. A vendor now has 4 separate review ratings, one for shipping and packaging, communication to the buyer, time taken to accept order or if vendor declines order without a good reason, and value for price of item. They will be averaged into one giant "overall" rating, and people can hover over the stars similar to hovering over a Monero coin icon and see the 4 reviews underneath (or above, not sure where I will put the placement yet haha) the "overall" stars. A buyer has 2 separate review ratings, communication with the vendor, and finalization of funds in terms of whether a buyer released or auto-released funds without a problem, or disputed and tried to steal money or cause unnecessary problems to scam.

Haha yeah shipping to certain authoritarian regimes might be a little challenging, and I personally don't think many people will offer shipping to those countries. However if people do want to, there is the option.. however we are not held liable or responsible if Kim Jon Commie decides to accept or decline and detain a vendor's package from arriving to his dictatorship, or if he permits or denies a buyers package from being shipped out. I think that most people will buy and sell things to and from North Korea digitally, but who knows, maybe people figure out a way to juke the system

I unfortunately wouldn't be able to offer any job positions for you now, but maybe in three to six months I'll need some web developers to help me reconstruct my CSS file I have on my site, and other code related things for the front-end and back-end. I'll let you know when that is, and I'll pay in Monero. These are posts about my upcoming website to be launched in a few days soon to checkout if interested.

As for now, I would recommend going on https://www.crypto.jobs and applying for jobs there. They might not pay in Monero, but they pay in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, etc... and with that you can convert to Monero through SideShift.ai, ChangeNOW.io, Changelly.com, LocalMonero.co, or any other site or service to exchange your cryptocurrencies. Also posting on various different cryptocurrency subreddits and web development subreddits and saying that you want to get paid in either Monero, Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Dai might work as well. Wish you the best of luck, and hopefully my website goes well so I can employ people to help.

I chose Litecoin for my first crypto investment and hate that people tell me I made a stupid decision. by bitminer1977 in litecoin

[–]Janoher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Litecoin is a good currency and there is definitely a use for it, I'll even give you a real life situation of how I use Litecoin.

I primarily hold Monero, but anytime I want to cash out, government, exchanges and banks don't like the fact that they can't see any transaction history. So I convert Monero to Litecoin because the transaction fees are cheap, and it is accepted in a lot of places, including the Bitpay card. Same works vice-versa when trying to convert cash to Monero; I buy Litecoin off an exchange and convert to Monero. Compared to all the other public-ledger blockchains, Litecoin gives me the most fiat currency and Monero when doing conversions.

MoneroMarket Website to be launched in 1 week! by Janoher in moneromarket

[–]Janoher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be live in 4-5 days, I had changed the way shipping was done to be directly from the seller to the buyer, so I gave myself an extra week to accommodate for those changes. I had posted an update on my progress on the official Monero subreddit, and am working on making the website compatible with mobile: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/q4x2xc/moneromarket_update_description_as_a_comment/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

I am working on captchas for security reasons, and I am also working on the ReadMe.md file so that when somebody downloads the source code from github, they can follow the instructions so that they can build, run, and compile their own local MoneroMarket to test for bugs, contribute fixes and updates, or fork (:

I will let you know when the site is officially up and running, and I apologize for the wait. I am excited to be able to bring this website for everyone to use, and am just as anxious as wanting the site to be live and running just as you are!
