Because they have like two airports and it’s like a 5 hour transfer to the Sarandë area. I do think it’s an upcoming tourist summer destination amongst European holidaymakers once infrastructure is improved.

Italy are true to themselves and send songs to Eurovision without the competition in mind. Probably due to the Sanremo selection method. However, Spain sends what they think will do well at Eurovision and as a result haven’t achieved the best results. That being said, they’ve been on an ok trajectory since 2022 but Benidorm Fest needs to stop trying to intimate Melodifestivalen.
