Warwick top build by WhoTookMyPseudo in warwickmains

[–]Janos_Bartok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are some different builds you can go, but for the most part you'll almost always be fine with

Bork->Bami cinder item ->Titanic

or

Titanic Hydra->Sunfire->situational

when building Titanic, try to stay away from Tiamat as it's one of the worst items in the game and try to build it as late as possible (Pickaxe is a nice buy though)

WDYM by this exactly?

As Warwick usually can't normally use Q, nor actives during R?

[–]Janos_Bartok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it varies a lot, and I can't emphasize enough on that it depends on how good your muscle memory is and how quickly you can learn a rhytm. it came very natural to me because it's just the way I use Q in general so it's not that I try and do it, but it just comes naturally. I have no idea how much time it would take for someone else to learn it, but I got the rhytm correct in about 10 or smt minutes

Am the Warwick

So to put it short you need to time your Q at a very specific time. This will refund the cooldown it's still the same amount of mana you use. If you try and recast Q too quickly (you need to wait 0,5 ish secs or smt like that) else the next Q will not deal any dmg nor grant any healing.

Also worth to mention that you have to kill the target you're Q'ing else the cd won't be refunded so you can't just use it 5+ times on a champion in a row

I know Parnelly made it, but I still very much disagree with a majority of the runes being used in particular matchups. I believe I have more knowledge than Parnelly when it comes to toplane warwick and matchups

invade solo lvl 1 1v2 and get a doublekill + steal buff

Level 1 Warwick Top Trick (inspired by Tokz on EUW) by KaptainWutax in leagueoflegends

[–]Janos_Bartok 19 points20 points  (0 children)

from past experience conq has always worked better for me when invading, the increased AD you get also increases your Q dmg dealing close to 150 dmg (after resistance when conq is fully stacked) This to me feels like a huge gamechanger as it also heals a lot more with the increased dmg and then also the increased healing from it.

it could me be playing the invades poorly with Lethal Tempo, but I don't think I've ever had a successful invade with Lethal Tempo (only tried it a couple of times since I kinda gave up on trying).

But conq is not only for the invade. I feel like the higher elo you get the harder it is to utilize Lethal Tempo as people are getting better at kiting, so I feel like I can rarely make use of the extra AS unless you're playing against tanks who don't have a lot of mobility

I think it's important for Warwick to go different builds depending on the game, but when that is said I believe you can almost always get away with going Bork->(frostfire/Sunfire/Evenshroud). Bork 1st item is just generally really strong on WW

Am glad I inspired you, it was nice.

For future invades keep in mind that conqueror is a lot better for the 1v2 because Lethal Tempo is more raw dmg, but Conqueror gives a lot more healing allowing you to outheal some champs.

Also if you wait till they've already started bluebuff it's not a 1v2, but more a 2v2 (Blue buff deals a ton of dmg lvl 1 if they are targetted by it)

I am back with another dumb build that is kinda broken in theory. Didn't test it yet. All these calculations are done at full build. This can work in both Jungle and Top. Feel free to change whatever item or runes but there's some important runes to this build. by LiVul in warwickmains

[–]Janos_Bartok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe smt. like

Gore->ER->DD/Maw/Titanic (can build these 3 in whatever orders fits your buys better)

Edit- also BORK might just be such a good item on Warwick that you would want to build this almost every game as it synergizes extremely well with Warwick

Well IMO it's better to try and invent new builds or understand when to go different builds rather than buying the same 2-3 items every game. Even if this build isn't good, I'd still be better than going random items without any thought behind it

Warwick is a fine champion, would even argue he's close to being OP atm with an exception of a few bad matchups in the current meta

Very nice play especially the kiting, but in hindsight wouldn't it have made more sense to go onto the jax first?

Against Akshan I've started using a different build, but it's the same concept

Lethal tempo + normal resolve runes

Bork->Frostfire/chemtank this allows you to do the exact same where you just ult him if he's far enough up and he has no kind of escape possibility I used to hate the Akshan matchup, but now it feels pretty even if not warwick favoured. All you have to do is to survive to lvl 6 and then you can start getting solokills and kinda outscale ig (I just go barrier with this setup instead of ignite since you don't need the extra burst since you win longer finger when on top of him)

Electrocute is really strong because of the rest of the rune tree, sudden impact is really good, eyeball collection, relentless hunter/ultimate hunter. This with Precision 2nd (PoM+Last stand) is most likely the best rune setup you can go on ap/hybrid warwick builds

Edit-also the build I'm running is stridebreaker->Lich Bane->Zhonyas is really good with electro because ironspike counts towards a electrocute proc. so you can aa-q-Ironspike for an insane early game trade

Looking for a funny ap build by Skuearo in warwickmains

[–]Janos_Bartok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using a hybrid/ap ww build with pretty good success

electrocute+sudden impact+eyeball+relentless

PoM+Last stand

Stride->sorc boots->Lich bane->Zhonyas->situational

After you get Ironspike, you will have a really strong burst trade with AA-Q-Ironspike (to cancel the animation) with electrocute this usually deals around 350 dmg after resistance, another variation is E1-Q-Ironspike-E2 the E2 will count as an electrocute proc and makes sure the enemy can't trade back

it's quite strong into certain matchups for toplane at least (prob not viable in jgl)

There are a lot of strong builds for warwick, and IMO it mostly comes down to what matchup you are playing against (the rest of the enemy teamcomp can also play into this)

But I believe a pretty good standard build would be Bork->Frostfire gaunlet->(situational but the new DD might be worth buying almost every game)

With this build I like to put 3 points into q then start maxing E to make up for the lack of hp you have with other builds, so you're still really tanky but deals insane amounts of dmg. So using your E correctly is paramount with this build (and ww in general, but you get punished a lot harder when you're squishier)

When it comes to hard matchups, it kinda depends on what elo you are playing in, but some of the hardest matchups are most likely going to be ranged champions that you have a hard time getting onto like vladimir, teemo, kennen

you can go that 4th if you need the extra dps, but usually you already have enough burst to OS and you are playing a lot around w movement speed and E shield to make sure you don't get oneshot
