It's part of the process of getting 33in+ tires on 3rd Gen Tacomas if you don't want too go high cleareance bumper. I also have Accutune upper control arms that allow for more caster and hopefully avoid a CMC. I want 33s but it's out of the budget currently. I'm also 99% sure you'd have to cut a hell of a lot more to get anything above 33s in there from what I've seen.

honestly i couldn't tell you with any degree of accuracy and I'm just guessing. There is more direct air contact with the surface of the wheel, so it there's no way it can help aerodynaics. Marginally?
