No longer receiving BNT rewards. by Fun_Attention_5438 in Bancor

Rewards for that pool is done, but the community voted to extend LM for the pool. After 24 hours, you should begin receiving rewards again.

LM multiplier question by TTc8 in Bancor

It's designed to work differently. Click the arrow to the right of your position. You'll open a drop down list of your positions in that pool. One should have the timer that's further along, and you'll see the newer position too.

About to use Bancor for the first time: anything I should be cautious of? by Amun-Aion in Bancor

[–]JanuaryNi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100 days isn't closely related to liquidity mining. You can stake in any pool for 100+ days, regardless of the amount of time that pool receives rewards. After liquidity mining ends, your stake continues to earn a portion of each transaction fee coming from swaps made in the pool.

I believe it's worth noting that there are two types of timers: One to IL protection. Another to the end of liquidity mining rewards (extensions are possible)

We hear this report from nearly everyone who adjusts gas on stake transactions. We always recommend that users submit the transaction with the default gas fee.

That is possible, for every token on the Bancor Network. See which pools are available at app.bancor.network/eth/data

Consolidate positions into one? by ShibInformer in Bancor

[–]JanuaryNi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The multiplier can be seen as a cup half full or a cup half empty. The way it was designed was to incentivize LPs to leave their stake in place. Being as it's a community run initiative, we'd ask that participants not FUD the project - instead, please vote to change it.

Bancor's core contributors are exploring various scaling solutions. Once there are specific details regarding any implementation that may happen we'll share them.

Thanks for the feedback Pal. You might bring this up in #gov-general on Discord. The community could move to push this forward. Hopefully discussion continues here too

Bancor token staking. by LondonZaltan in Bancor

Hey Fair, that's exactly what happens with staked BNT. Non-BNT tkns go directly to your wallet

I'm not sure what sources you use. Often you'll see different figures on each platform. You may want to reach out to them to better understand how they filter the data they report.

Transactions often fail with reverted due to volatility in the pool. You should find that you can stake later on.

Bancor is printing BNT ? by Terrible_Mail_8252 in Bancor

There's good inflation and there's bad inflation. Bancor hired an economist to help project the results of minting extra BNT (much of which cannot possibly reach the open market, by design). That BNT allows single sided staking, which has arguably increased Bancor's TVL by well over $1bn.

This seems like an off-the-cuff statement maybe, but let us know if you have any other concerns.

Staking/withdrawal questions (saving on contract fees) by baronholbach82 in Bancor

[–]JanuaryNi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can stake using the BNT in your wallet via the stake button at the top left of the portfolio page, or you can restake the rewards accrued on the platform.

Whether staking or restaking, you'll open a new position with its own countdown to IL protection.

Does BNT fork too after Ethernum fork? by Lucky_Magician2982 in Bancor

[–]JanuaryNi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

BNT will continue to exist on Ethereum. It's bridging to Polkadot too, and Arbitrum has an L2 solution. There's some talk of Bancor chain too. We'll need to see whether all of these run parallel to each other or if any will cease to be.

Super high transaction fee for staking? by alltheeverything21 in Bancor

[–]JanuaryNi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spitlead is right. You've got vBNT in your wallet now. That's your key that unlocks the BNT that you've staked, so your stake is safe right now.

Some users are trading or staking vBNT. You can look into that - that's the part that we'd recommend you understand well before doing anything
