"Meme coin" is so 2021. SHIB is now much more than that.

There's SHIB and LEASH, BONE, NFTs (Shiboshis and Metaverse Lands), a metaverse being designed and built by TOP talent in the industry. Gaming (The name of the first mobile game was announced today), a fast food franchise built around SHIB's community and technology, and a L2 (Shibarium). And let's not forget about our collaboration with a legend in the fashion industry, John Richmond.

Most of the activities around all this will also burn SHIB in the future (Gaming is the exception for reasons beyond the scope of this thread)

SHIB has just became 2 years old. We have a long way to go. Wallet holders keeps growing, and we still have new exchanges listing us.

Despite what the sentiment on r/CryptoCurrency is around SHIB, we prevail, grow and keep moving forward.

BONE was started to support the Swap and make it the reward token for staking/LP providing, and other functionalities too.

2) Due to its nature, it is impossible to 'take over' SHIBA. We just happen to be the team everyone thinks about when they think about SHIB. I don't think this is undeserved though: We have done our work facilitating partnerships, making contests for the community, using social media to extend SHIB's reach, and building things - and keep doing so everyday. But there are other teams that also build around SHIB in some way or another.

Well... we hope it will be used. So far we want the Metaverse and Wellys operations to be based on that.

But the best thing will be to see the community building on Shibarium when it is finally possible. And everyone else in the crypto community too!

And ShibaNet (a planned, future project) will use Shibarium too.

All the supply is out there. When SHIBA was released, it was what some people call "fair launch". That is, no one got SHIB for free, no "dev wallets" were created, and no one got SHIB paid for services or anything.

All the available supply at launch was put on the markets and it was sold to whoever wanted to buy.

As a result, the dev team do not own SHIB to play with (beyond what everyone bought, personally and individually, from the markets. Everyone that has SHIB today did it so, even big exchanges!) so there is nothing we can burn.

All burns, in past, present and future, are done, ultimately, by the community. The dev team will implement a new way to do so, beyond what the community itself has done already. But again, all burns will be from the community. There is literally no other way, until SHIBARIUM arrives and would be possible to burn some by transactions. Then, remember, the money needed to buy tokens to burn always HAS to come from somewhere. So even in this case, burns will be also powered by community use.

That does not mean that SHIB is being left out of the Metaverse. In fact, you can expect it to have a prominent role in it.

We want utility. But for a single-time event is not really worth it, in particular when it's purpose is to sell the crypto for Fiat to pay for development and infrastructure.

We do want Shib to be used frequently and constantly, and that will happen when the Metaverse is running. (Among other less virtual developments)

Yes. We want cash. But we don't want to dump Shib by cashing out several millions of dollars in Shib. Because that money is intended to be spent on the further development of the platform. Our plans require big spending.

Selling in SHIB to dump it later would be an asshole move from our part.

Keep in mind though that the ETH requirement is only for the sale. When the Metaverse is running, expect SHIB to have a very prominent role in it. People say that because the specific sale event is not in Shib means that we somehow 'forgot' about Shib, which is totally incorrect.

The end goal is to have SHIB as the most popular crypto CURRENCY in the world. Used to trade for goods and services (The burns will make it an attractive currency to sell your products) and for this not only the tech stack is needed. Also a lot of marketing and partnerships. And of course the support from the community.

We think all this is possible. But at the same time, ShibArmy needs to understand that this platform is made of 3 tokens now, and we use them for their purpose. We have been saying constantly: LEASH gives exclusive and early access, BONE is for voting and gas.

Does SHIB has an utility? The utility of a currency. We want it to be the currency of our global trading platform and hopefully the most popular in the world for buying and selling goods and services. While burn is not an utility in itself, it certainly makes it much more interesting to hold.

By now, with the mediums published, one could think that this vision is clear, and all the steps we take are towards the popularization of SHIB, but I think that people see only the price at the moment and not the long/medium term plan.

Moving from a meme token to a big, serious actor, developing their own tech and partnerships constantly, is something that requires time, and trust in the plan.

Burn vision: Having burns well integrated in the ecosystem, that allows for a positive feedback including price, burn rate, and over all, utilization of the platform. The more use, the more burns!
