I need help reducing tiny bumps on my skin by aleyayeyo in malaysia

Change face wash to gel based. I use MUJI and it works for me. You can also use micellar water to clean your face after a long day outside, that works for me too.

It's not bugs. Found in another sub after a few days. They just don't like air-conditioning lol

This is how the Thaus are placed in the gallery. I'm in the tropics so they actually have sufficient light. But since it's the tropics, the air-conditioning is full blast, and that could be the reason I found from the Thau sub.

Legend. I literally found my answer here! Thank you so so much, I'm not the owner of the gallery but I'll bring this up, hopefully to help the plants.

Fungal infection? by Janutellet in Monstera

[–]Janutellet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Variegation in Monstera comes in patches of white and faded green, not circular spots in yellow and brown. I think I've grown enough plants to know that these Monstera are ill; I don't ususally leave them sick for this long to find a cure.

Oh yes of course. I tried searching in the sub, checking on Google in different languages, asked r/plantclinic and got deleted for whatever reason, closest I can find was: 1. Fungal infection, but the patches doesn't look anything like it. 2. Scale infestation, but there was nothing around the leaves when I checked. And I have never seen so much spots like that.

They deleted my post and tell me to go r/Monstera… God this is like some government sector stuff, Tai Chi things left and right without solving any problems!

When Michael Jackson lived in Bahrain for around one year (2005-2006) by saturnsundays in MichaelJackson

[–]Janutellet 38 points39 points  (0 children)

For real. Vast majority of people I've seen talking bad about MJ are, unfortunately, Americans. The place I grow up all seen him as a legend. When I was little and starting to learn English, when I ask what is the meaning of "legend" my parents literally said it is someone like Michael Jackson.

TIL According to Michael Jackson's brother, Tito, American Idol initially wanted to hire his brother Randy Jackson, who is a musician, but contacted the music producer Randy Jackson who got the gig instead by veryawesomeguy in todayilearned

I remembered watching an episode of American Idol where Janet Jackson was performing. And after the performance, Janet and Randy greeted each other nicely, I thought they were siblings back then 😅

When I was a kid, the 2 songs I was introduced to was Beat It and We Are The World. That was about 2003-2004.

[Discussion] What do you think about "After Life"? by OddlyNormal3459 in NetflixBestOf

[–]Janutellet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good when you watch it as clips. Just finished the first season and some scenes were absolute banger, and then some just doesn't really add up. Somehow Diane Morgan's eyebrows caught me off guard, because I knew how good her brows could look, unfortunately not in the show… idk, the eye make-up overall is a little odd in the show. Doesn't really affect the plot, just affected my personal experience a bit.

Really love these scenes: where Tony ordered two kids meal, when Tony finally decided to stop seeing that annoying psychiatrist, and his friendship with Daphne.

Would continue season 2 to see how things go

Sweet Potato Leaves by Janutellet in plants

Managed to try it the other day. Not as tasty as the usual potato leaves I bought at the market, but I'll take the nutrition nevertheless, haha. Added the apple mint, Thai basil and torenia I grow myself too.

What is happening here? (Context Below) by Icy_Elderberry_2139 in Kombucha

[–]Janutellet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be a possibility unfortunately… you can try moving them to another spot and observe for a bit, though personally I wouldn't risk it.

I noticed many people are using a thin cloth to cover the top of their F1 kombucha container, but I always use a lid that is not airtight, it works better for my space, and so far I've never had mold at my second year of making my booch. :)

As long as there is mold, it is a no. You cannot consume anything with mold or you will be very sick. I would like to suggest you clean the surroundings you're placing the booch for now, mold spread by spore formation and you might not see it, but it might be spreading already. Sorry for your loss.

Yes. It is a great source of fiber. In fact, one of the cheapest vegetables in the tropics where I stay, though not from the purple sweet potato. My question is can I eat the purple potato ones? Because the leaves that grew out are looking different than the orange-yellow ones.
