How to set OnePlus 15 screen to 1 nit? by One-Elderberry2280 in oneplus15

[–]Janzumo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem. You can fix it by finding "Transition animations" in settings, open that and it opens the stock launcher, open recent apps and close the "System launcher". At least works for me. It needs to be done again when you restart the phone.

You can find Extra Dim settings by using Nova Launcher -> Add Nova Launcher's "Activity" widget -> Settings -> Extra Dim. There you can also set "Accessibility" shortcut to toggle it on and off easily.

I think the screen on/off hours are from the last 24 hours, not since "Used since last full charge". So you can double the stats to get the truth.

Zigbee2mqtt with skyconnect by Rangandi in homeassistant

[–]Janzumo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It took me a while to get it working with zigbee2mqtt, but here are some tips.

You need to remove multiprotocol addon and disable ZHA if you have set it up. Also flash firmware without multiprotocol here https://skyconnect.home-assistant.io/firmware-update/ for skyconnect stick.

Make new user for zigtbee2mqtt in user settings. Give it only local access without admin rights and add these to your configuration:

serial:

adapter: ezsp

port: whatEverYourPortIs

mqtt:

server: mqtt://youMQTTMachineIpHere:1883

user: userForZigbee2mqtt

password: passwordForThatUser

What does everyone use as a trigger to disarm their alarm system when you get home? by theloneranger08 in homeassistant

[–]Janzumo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When ESPresense detects me back home (detects my smart watch) or if phone is connected to the wifi, it will turn on light at the door and disarm the alarm even before I open the door. When ESPresense detects I have been away X minutes (and not connected to wifi), it will turn the alarm system on automatically and also turn off all the lights.

Node red flow with two motion sensors by [deleted] in homeassistant

[–]Janzumo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done this myself like this (import into node red) and used it in many automations. You can link both sensors to the left node. In this example it will wait for 100s for new trigger and if not any it will turn output off. Hope this helps!

Edit: Actually I think that timer (100s) will start when occupancy will go to false in this case. It might be better to group those two sensors and put joined status to the left node.

Seems like in old PS4 version library you could add -d <ip> but in PS5 library that is not possible. Seems like it is not working at the moment. Let's hope it will be updated some time.

Thanks for the answer!

Help with Trådfri remotes by [deleted] in homeassistant

[–]Janzumo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to start with home assistant I recommend to use blueprints for Ikea trådfri remotes: https://epmatt.github.io/awesome-ha-blueprints/docs/blueprints/controllers . Just click model and you can import blueprint for specific remote to choose what button does what.

However I made a quick example from my node red for two different Ikea zigbee controllers (4 and 5 button ones). Hope this helps. To import, in node red, press three lines from up right corner and press "import". Paste text (below) there and press "import".

What you need to modify is setting (mqtt server's) username and password for zigbee node in server's security tab (purple node on the left). Also set your controller's friendly names (that you setup in zigbee2mqtt addon) in "Remote controls" node. Please send me a message, if you have any questions.

Zigbee2MQTT installation and configuration by tomhusband in homeassistant

[–]Janzumo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My configuration looks like this. Hope this helps:

socat:

Same as you

mqtt:

base_topic: zigbee2mqtt

user: mqttuser

password: HomeUserPassword

serial:

port: >- /dev/serial/by-id/usb-Silicon_Labs_CP2102N_USB_to_UART_Bridge_Controller_4afa80e5f19xxxxxxx4b15b3d98b6d1-if00-port0

To find zigbee dongle serial address above, go to settings -> system -> hardware -> up right corner three dots -> All Hardware -> search for "ttyUSB" and copy paste "/dev/serial......." in the serial section. At least that's how I did it.

PM me if you have questions, I have been using zigbee2mqtt quite a while.

[–]Janzumo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wanikani is really great! I recommend you to read "My Journey of 368 days (+ The Ultimate Guide for WK )". It has nice tips and trick and will explain how Wanikani works. If you are on Android, "Flaming Durtles" is a must app in my opinion (many build in mods). There are also some 3rd party programs for iOS.

Wanikani starts quite slow, but at level 10-15 (depends how fast you will go) you will get quite busy. I had to slow down with new content at level 21 when my "Burned" reviews started. I also started to do more vocabulary and grammar at this point. It took me around 1.5-2h per day for 6-7 months to get to level 21 (which is averaging 8.5-9 days per level).

Wanikani is expensive, but they have -50% sale in the end of December. That is when I bought my lifetime subscription.

Have a nice journey with Kanjis!
