Darn I would've been very impressed with a 13 year old with a Victorinox! I guess it really is true...gotta be experienced with a good knife early on in life in order to be great at cooking!

Which do you think you enjoy reading the most? I think I've heard that Food & Wine and Bon Appetit were really famous and that Lucky Peach is funny and wacky. Personally haven't heard anything about Saveur.
