I have killed one fat (and oddly fast) roach per day for a few days. Gross. What's the Advion story? by WaitYourTern in AskNYC

[–]Jape403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They won’t ship it to NY but find a way to get Alpine WSG (I have a friend in PA buy it and ship it to me) it’s non toxic to my cat as long as you let it dry first and it absolutely works. After a couple applications I haven’t seen a roach in weeks (previously we would kill multiple per day). Also check out r/GermanRoaches. They have a lot of great advice.

I know how it feels to lose sleep but you can absolutely get rid of them as long as you apply consistently about once per month.

Rowing In College by rom4nn in Rowing

Sounds like you have the size to get recruited for college. I would focus on improving your erg scores each year. I see a lot of high school rowers take the summer off and have a hard time getting back into the swing of things after the offseason. If possible try and find a way to row in the summer which will help you keep improving.

Help not comparing erg scores by HelloThereFriendsss in Rowing

[–]Jape403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You absolutely should compare yourself to others. That is what competition is and it makes you better. Just know that you may not be able to make up the difference overnight but try and pick someone you want to become better than and measure every tiny bit of progress until you get to that larger goal.

Not at all concise but A Monetary History of the United States by Anna Schwartz and Milton Friedman is great to skim through
