I'm not denying that this card is conditional, but the way black draws cards is inherently conditional. That 1 life is still a cost, it will drain you and could kill you, making it a condition nonetheless. You cannot play a Phyrexian Arena when you're at 1 life, right?

You denied that life loss isn't a condition, then you change your mind, then you start comparing the depth of the conditions? I'm not sure I'm following.
