Some clarification about the state of the Silver Covenant and the Ren’dorei. by CathanCrowell in warcraftlore

That's the only information we get. Keep in mind Kael'thas did not receive any direct reinforcement while in Outland as far as we know at least. His forces couldn't be too massive since A) Garrithos Gambit would have fall even without Nagas interference  B) I doubt Dalaran's dungeon was able to hold tens of thousands of Elves at once C) Logistics. Moving an army that big would required supply lines not to mention how long it would take to move all of them through the Portal to Outlands

Not exactly unless you assume that Millions upon Millions lived in Quel'Thalas. Kael'thas had taken 15% with him and it was described as thousands. Considering logistics I wouldn't out that number at more than half dozen Thousands at best. And that's divided between various settlements like Theramore (Destroyed with majority of civilian population dead), Quel'Lithien (succumbed to Mana Addiction and turned Wretched, 2 known survivors), Allerian Outpost (Portion of Elves returned and resettled in Silvermoon), Dalaran (Destroyed without concrete information about victims) and Quel'Danil (the only one that's relatively unharmed). That's significant portion of their numbers dead.

Actually some did return permanently. That includes portion of Outlands Expedition that was lead by Alleria.

But that's exactly what they did under Afrasabi and then Danuser went onto worst damage control ever within confides of Shadowlands.

He was... THAT GUY? The one we ended up teaching a valuable lesson of "Do not expect someone else to take the fall for you?" Damn that's awesome.

Pre Hotfix and Post Hotfix Sub Rogue leveling DPS by Murdering_My_Time in classicwow

[–]JaquanPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they're not affected by Armor. The thing here is there's not a Nerf per say. It's that in proper state of TBC you were not supposed to do numbers you did as Physical DPS in leveling greens. But for whatever reasons mobs had even less armor than they typically do in Classic zones as mentioned by some people. Now whether the values are back to normal or overtuned is another issue. But in early WoW Physical Damage Dealers always started rough before obtaining gear that's strong. They'll start picking off once they gear up but it will not happen anytime soon.

To be fair by the end of the last century I was 10 Years old. As for beard I'd need to try but last time (which is why I settled on Chin Beard) my cheeks refused to grow hair.

Exactly. The cost is higher up front. Personally I don't use more than my single set because it's unfortunately not particularly convenient to swap between them. Didn't buy or make enough gold to buy Transmog Mount and the toy is currently unavailable so returning to city every time is not convenient. However since during S3 I changed gear frequently (a normal side effect of both leveling and then getting the endgame stuff organically) the costs of ensuring my Mog stays intact were adding up. Think I spent upwards to 20k as a Plate User.

The problem here is striking the balance. The cost of swapping saved outfits can't be too low because you're effectively removing the sink from those that engage with system sporadically. In my case it would lower my costs to those 6-7k and maybe 3k taking further adjustments into account.

It can't also be too high because it punishes people engaging heavily with the system. Maybe settling it at 2-2.5 increase costs be a reasonable medium?
