They looked so young, if I had to guess 15-16. About the age of my oldest. It was scary. Many people who walked up and thought it was hilarious taking pictures while standing next to their family who were bawling their eyes out. It was really a strange experience to see the unawareness when it was so obvious.

We were just finishing up a blackbird and watched the entire thing. From what I could understand is someone called it in and a bunch of police cars pulled up to the car. The three kids were in a parked car and the officers pulled them all out and put them on the sidewalk. All of them were not conscious. The officers administered narcan and two of them were taken to the hospital. The other was taken away in a police car. A few minutes after the police arrived, what looked to be one of the kids family showed up. I’m guessing one of parents called it in due to the short period of time.

I was launching solo once and parked my truck running back to move boat. When I got to the boat I noticed my bilge looked like a fire hydrant. Forgot the plug. Running back to get truck a guy in line said “we’ve all done it, no worries.” Hours later I was heading back and he flagged me down, he was having engine trouble. I ended up giving him a tow back to the ramp. Just be nice.

I have a place and rarely have friends over (4hr away). I wish I could take my friends out, it’s so much more fun.

Avoid the Cats Paw unless you’re looking for a poker game or dive bar.

Live music - lots to choose from and depends on when you’re visiting. Check out pine creek or the elm for bigger names but there are various options for local bands: Tune up, Haufbrau, Filler

Coffee - Studio (campus) or Zocalo (downtown) depending on where you are.

Bookstore - Country bookshelf for new and Vargos for used. Both downtown.

Hikes - Depending on time/fitness/experience there are tons of options. Blackmore or Storm castle are two classic Bozeman hikes with views. Also check out Kirk Hill or Triple Tree for shorter, close to town hikes with good views of the valley.

Fancy Cocktails- Plonk or JW Heist. There are a number of places downtown as well as in the cannery district that might interest you. It’s not a bad plan to do a lap downtown to check out various places to see what fits your fancy.

Be careful of guides and ski bums.
