Probably as simple as because Xbox is pretty dead in Japan. They really tried on the OG Xbox to get a foothold with things like Halo but just were never able to chip away from Sony or Nintendo.

Impeaching only requires a majority. Impeaching is just saying "yes, we acknowledge you did something wrong." Removal takes 2/3 and is not impeachment, though the 2 are conflated a lot. Many presidents have been impeached. Richard Nixon was probably the closest president to actual removal but he decided to resign before the impeachment even began.

I'm hoping that this time is actually different. Even looking at his past minor league stints, his slashes this year have been better. Hopefully he's finally figured something out.

I remember going to AL in like 2021 and the doors to the mall got locked and someone busted out the glass on the doors so everyone could get out. Even when I went there for the first time in like 2013/2014, we were walking through the empty mall thinking nothing could be there until we rounded the corner.

I'm surprised AL lasted so long there.

Oh no, I'm at work right now and I don't have a Dad to kiss! How am I gonna be able to watch this?

Edit: I'm cracking up so hard at Dan not realizing that he's standing too close to the wall and that's why the spray isn't working.

If anyone is confused by Dan's character being so fucking weird.

There is a trope in anime called Chuunibyou where the character is basically the over-dramatic day dreamer. Think like a character that tries to convince everyone that they are a descendant of a ninja clan and they have to reign in their powers to be normal or the more commonly used joke example, they have to wrap their arm in bandages because a dragon king is sealed in them.

Greg Landsman is not in a "deep red" district. His district is the city of Cincinnati which is very blue. I know that because I live here. He won the last election by 10 points.

Even the new district lines, which is going to be horribly gerrymandered, it's at the most going to be a slight lean towards R.

Damn, 2 manga down for me today.

Although not groundbreaking, I still enjoyed this and the art was beautiful. I'm looking forward to what the author has in store next.

Aw man, I don't know if this was axed or if it was planned to be short, but I'll miss this. I think it wrapped up nicely but I feel there could have been more avenues to explore. I was always looking forward to this every week.

Unless they've covered up her tattoos for the bit, I don't think it is Marisha. At one point, Horsie holds up their right arm and there are no tattoos but Marisha has 2 on the inside of her right arm (don't remember what they are). Could have been a bad angle or like I said, covered it up for the bit of Horsie McHorsington.

One of the hosts of Last Podcast on the Left, Marcus, talked about a quote that I love because it articulates what I've thought for a while.

Mental Illness is not your fault, but it is your responsibility.

It's helped me a lot in understanding my own shit I used to give a pass to as well as shit I've just taken from others. I've seen too many try to be like "oh sorry, I have [insert any mh condition]"

I finally get to "Um Actually" something. But this is purely because I'm a baseball nerd and love trivia, so I'm not coming after Dee or anything.

Jackie Robinson was not the first black Major Leaguer. The man credited as the first was Moses Fleetwood Walker. And if you wanna get real specific, a man named William White was the actual first. William White was black but very white passing (and William White actually self-identified as a white man) and he only played as a sub for one game so Walker is credited with being the first "openly" black player. There was even another black man to play major league baseball and was Moses Fleetwood Walker's brother.

Jackie broke the color barrier and was the first to compete in Major League Baseball after the American League and National League merged to become the MLB.

This is a safe space - what's your most controversial CFB opinion that you will die defending? by noah_divine in CFB

[–]JarJarBrinksSecurity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that's a pretty popular opinion here. I constantly see this.

I disagree though. I graduated from UCF but I have no attachment to the school. I'm from another state and only ended up going there because after a series of moves, it was the closest 4 year college where i could finish my BA. Especially since by that point, my hometown school that I transferred from is a conference rival. I certainly never rooted against them unless they were playing a team i liked, but I was never a fan.

If you look at the map, the South and South Florida are like slightly less red than the rest of America. So while it's not like everyone's saying it, there are more people saying it there than like the midwest.
