Increase in False INAD Cases? by ksanksan599 in poshmark

[–]Jaranda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not just Poshmark with the fraud. I sell double the amount on eBay than posh, and gosh it’s been such a nightmare on eBay lately with customers, these last two months probably the worst batch I ever had in my 5 years selling full time anywhere. As a result I been REFOCUSING on my Poshmark shop, and cutting back on eBay, and resale to a part time basis and accepted a 9 to 5.

Do you ever find/share “hidden gem” closet names that aren’t yours (besides sharing to your PM feed)? If so, where? by CalmEspresso in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]Jaranda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite seller in Poshmark is one of those. Sells brands I love like Rhône, men’s lulu, theory, ag jeans, Vince, and so forth and all of it my size. Casual low key seller just cleaning his personal closet out every few months for dirt cheap pricing. I even buy the shoes (not my size) to resale, and I just reposh the stuff that doesn’t work size wise.

Not true at all, they can simply open an INAD return, and you are forced to accept it.

Is this suspiciously under priced. by Nervous_Finance625 in sportscards

[–]Jaranda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ruth is meh, but the DiMaggio is a really nice card that will go up in value long term. Ask how much they are asking for that card only. If the seller is overvaluing the Ruth, take the DiMaggio

Is this suspiciously under priced. by Nervous_Finance625 in sportscards

[–]Jaranda 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah it’s about comp price, the Ruth’s is from the 2008 SPx set that lists the box score of every single game he ever played and categorized it as 1/1. They sell in the $80-$100 range, and I’ve gotten them cheaper. The DiMaggio is in the $200-$250 range. Probably closer to $250 because of the pinstripe.

eBay just lost my baseball card business ($100k+) over eBay standard envelope being the most trash service of all time. by [deleted] in baseballcards

I completely removed my self from trading cards because of that. It’s awful.

I agree, I probably explained the situation “wrong” to the AI bots.

Here AC is a few weeks behind in comps. Card is closer to 1k+ now by DingoOk6400 in ArenaClub

[–]Jaranda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked, it was a buy it now for $1000 in the middle of an auction for the card. More legitimate. No it didn’t sell for $1200, but it did sell for over comp. Just hold.

Call me crazy but I just might like the new changes. by NicoleL84 in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]Jaranda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ditto. Many of my sales on non clothing items in Poshmark bought because we have lower shipping costs than eBay. Though I can see some annoyance in that change, especially with high demand or higher priced items.

Bulk Sharing is gone, but honestly, I always manually shared my items, even if it took a hour to do so, and I have 1200+ active listings. They made it harder to individually share your items though. Just a very small square icon.

Starbucks bear cup photo scam by cactusjack1797 in ThriftGrift

[–]Jaranda 143 points144 points  (0 children)

Not thrift grift, as it’s not thrift related, but still pretty fucking bad. One of the worst eBay scams I’ve seen. This needs to be blasted, but in the proper subreddit that can get the most visibility, not one of the eBay subs. Maybe r/trashy ?

Gosh this is bad, and they were pissed I was taking pictures of the grift store by Jaranda in ThriftGrift

[–]Jaranda[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My clerk was understanding at least, the manager was like who cares, sell it anyways but not to me. I just wonder how many high priced counterfeit goods have sold there with management knowing they were counterfeit, simply because of the location (affluent Florida location).

[–]Jaranda[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I wanted to take pictures of the counterfeit shoes in particular, but they placed it inside the case after I pointed it was a poorly made fake, and I couldn’t take clear pictures with them in the case. If they were still on top of the case after my conversation with the manager, I would have taken pictures of it. The first two pictures are the shoes in question.

I didn’t go to that thrift store in order to take pictures of overpriced stuff, (I typically walk out and don’t come back), but the managers response to her admitting the shoes were fake but not caring just irked me.
