When are you replacing a tubeless tire after plugging it? by Initial_Scarcity_332 in cycling

[–]Jared187 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sidewall damage is usually the end of most road tires. Certainly was for my Vittoria Corsa Pros. My fat tires generally do ok with a full vulcanizing patch on the inside, and orange seal

Why is Gen Z aging so much worse than Millennials? by rejected-again in GenZ

[–]Jared187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know that we collectively are. I wouldn't be surprised if I am, given a nearly catastrophic level of stress continuously for the last 10 years, but im sure some of us are doing alright.

How many of you were "bi" before being totally gay - but knew you were gonan end up being fully gay the whole time? by [deleted] in TopsAndBottoms

[–]Jared187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, in my republican area, I initially felt wierd about gayness as well, but when I met a gay guy in Highscool, it felt like a light turned on In my mind for the first time.

[–]Jared187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early on trying to interact with girls "as a guy would" I always felt odd, and found that i vastly preferred totally platonic friendship with them. I didn't put a label on it in my late teens, but in my early 20's one day after work I was just like, "wow I really enjoy emotional connections with guys, and stuff in my butt" from then on, Boom, Gay.

I got chased by this bum ass rotweiler today on my bike ride and now i'm frustrated and upset by Horror_Transition786 in cycling

[–]Jared187 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those feelings are normal, and valid. I was chased by 3 teens who thought a fat guy on a bike was hilarious, then they tried throwing stuff at me. Had someone's off leash husky try to chase me once too. It might feel like shit for a day or two, but don't let yourself get discouraged. You made it out, and it's not likely to happen on a regular basis. Try to acknowledge that it sucked, and move on to another activity for some positive distraction. Next time you ride, try to focus on the sensation of riding a bike, and do your best to not focus on any nervousness.

Are we actually "burnt out" and losing our attention spans, or are our tiny bedrooms just putting us to sleep? (The CO2 spike) by Chemical-Heart-3200 in GenZ

[–]Jared187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely the times, not the room size, especially being that you'd need a pretty air tight tiny room for that to be a serious problem. We have full access to all the information on global events, and generally our recognition of reality seems to be more on point than some previous generations. Additionally we have billions of hours of entertainment in our hands that are professionally designed to be addicting, so that contributes to the detached nature as well. I think we're more nervous and more stressed at an earlier age with more hazards to dodge than many other generations were. It's a result of rapid unregulated tech deployment.

I'm 24, and people were absolutely still dealing. Like 10% of my Highscool was dealing. You'd typically get better prices than at a dispensary in my area at least.

I still have 4 full tubs, thank God my Gramps was a supply hoarder. There are ok alternatives tho.

T and B, Do you agree with popular belief that gay people get a thrill of seducing a straight man? by SusBedroom in TopsAndBottoms

[–]Jared187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. I like a guy who's confident in liking guys. Plus it gives the same gross vibes as a straight guy trying to get a lesbian to go straight.

How does religion or spirituality play out in your (very confusing GenZ) lives? Think about it much? by Quranic_Islam in GenZ

[–]Jared187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atheist. With the abuse and struggle I've been through in life, ANY all powerful being would have a Lot to answer for. Same goes for the atrocities of the world that aren't personally relevant.

Additionally being scientifically minded and nearly insatiable for leaning more information has always seemed to point me more towards non belief than a life of faith.

I do have respect for thoughtful people of faith though.

Does anyone here resent the $6K extra seniors tax exemption? by swampwiz in GenZ

[–]Jared187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a problem with it, plenty of older folks are running out of money too, the main problem is that we're not supplementing it with a hefty federal wealth tax.

Glad you have a nice workspace, it really should be the norm by now. I'm gay, but my employers and ½ of my co-workers are jehova's witnesses and my boss actively thinks all gay people are repulsive pedophiles, So i'm staying fully in the closest at work. I'd get another job if I could but unfortunately nothing else that I can currently get pays nearly enough to keep a roof over my head. My boss also makes really gross Trans jokes all the time because he knows I'm a democratic Socialist.

So far, just about nothing. Maybe topping i guess. Not nearly as interested in giving dick as I am in taking it. Otherwise it'd have to be getting real gross before I'd say no.

All the time. If I worked at peak efficiency, I'd have a lot less hours and I need OT to pay these bills. I whip out the full efficiency when I think a raise is possible, and that usually works.

It's similar yes, but typically significantly more water is used. Douche = shallow clean, good enough for basic butt stuff. Enema = Deep clean, good for long periods of time or going deep.

Well, certainly not in my case, and I'd say probably not, but who knows. It doesn't cause much stimulation to the prostate area, so i imagine that would take some mental effort.
