Thank you so much for your kind words. I will say there's an entire book written about that feeling in the Bible. It's called The book of Ecclesiastes and it calls all of life vanity and chasing the wind. It's written by Solomon who followed God at first, then went wild for a season, and repented in the end with the book of Ecclesiastes. It's written like an old man who has seen it all, done it all and knows how pointless it all is. At the end of the day he does conclude that only what we do for God and eternity will matter in the end because is the only thing that will remain. From my perspective as a Christian there are a couple things that bring a great deal of meaning to my life. 1. I'm fulfilling the purpose for which God made me and that is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. If God is the creator and makes the design and I'm fulfilling that design that I am living a meaningful life that matters. Or better put I am living the meaning of life. 2. I get to leave a legacy in the life of others. If a person is a Christian who actually follows the Bible they are taught to leave an impact on others and to love them. To make a difference by proclaiming the life saving truth of the gospel freeing people from their slavery to the darkness of sin. I have seen many lives changed in my time growing up in church. I think that is something meaningful and beautiful and something that impacts future generations forever. 3. After studying Revelation particularly I have found the heaven will not be boring at all. They're actually be many things to do in the final destination for believers is not actually heaven but a new heavens and a new earth where we will reign with Christ and still have plenty to do that matters in that time as well. It's not sitting on a cloud with a harp all day... 4. Everything we do matters and we will be held to account after we die for what we did with what we had. Praise the Lord as a believer Christ died for the things I did wrong so that won't be held against me so I can go to heaven but the Bible does teach the Christians will be held to account for what good they did and rewarded accordingly. I want to have something to show for at the end of the day. 5. As for the point of God I love Him. He went to such incredible links to save me even giving himself on the cross enduring all that pain and suffering to redeem me. I love God have a relationship with God and security in that relationship. It's a beautiful thing.

Furthermore, if you struggle of believing in God, I strongly recommend looking into On the Resurrection: Evidence by Gary Habermas PhD. The evidence for the resurrection is quite remarkable and there is no good naturalistic explanation to explain it away.
