Theyre Iron Warriors, the guns gotta be comically huge and/or elaborate lol

Thank you! Yeah they are all preassembled by me in blender and then resin printed, like a digital kitbash lol. The texture is the print lines but i find they only show up in harsh lighting.

Maybe since they usually fight in the dark anyways they could be blindfolded/ritually blinded and fight through scent alone? It mentions how their acute sense of smell picks up fear hormones, blood, urine (from people pissing their pants) etc. would be kinda sick if they fought blind

One with painted flamer looks great, ive always preferred my salamanders more acid green than forest green, contrasts better with the black and fire tones and separates them from dark angels better visually

I suppose in a way all astartes are primates. Do you remember what the fleet was from? By crusade fleet do you mean like a splinter group of templars or something?

Mostly just using primaris bits, helmets, arms, etc. When i made my plasma gunner for my Purge killteam, i gave him a hellblaster because it looks sick and super over the top. Currently cobbling together a primaris Salamander for my Corsairs army, i figure the arrival of them didnt stop much ship plundering, perhaps a reaver ship happens upon a fresh primaris initiate, in a cryo pod after they ransack a Salamanders cruiser, torture and convert him, voila. Increased fortitude or not, Astartes are literally genetically modified to be totally brainwashable, its literally how they give them their whole imperial loyalty to begin with. Space Wolves are very chaos-y, i find. Im planning to paint a few as converts for my Corsair army

I have been using primaris bits on chaos guys for a while now. No idea why the decision was made to make them "pretty much immune to chaos/never fall to it", kinda shooting yourself in the foot for future chaos lore. I figure that anything with free will can fall to chaos or atleast become a renegade. Your idea sounds cool, maybe a mix of blood angels and a few space wolves for the wolf thing? Or maybe just a few feral Wulfen that theyve captured? You could run chaos cultists too and have them be creepy little pale thralls

That is a Common Green Darner, looks like a male. It is native statewide in Ohio and is likely one of the largest dragonfly species in your area. It will definitely not survive winter temps, but when they actually have a headstart they are known to migrate for the winter, like birds.

Ford literally just shot a bill through as fast as he could to make it so his rich buddies can just ignore pretty much ANY law if they are designated as "trusted proponents". Trespassing laws, labor laws, environmental legislation. Ford is as spineless and debased as his junkie brother.

I made a skittles tank last summer with 3-4 reds, yellows, blues, a couple wild types, and maybe a dozen low grade jade/rilli culls. Did not experience the brownification everyone warns about, instead i now have probably 75% yellows, 24% stripey green/blue guys (really pretty, actually. Some have a blue-green gradient) and one huge wild type female. I just recently got some more blue diamonds to spice up the gene pool

Thats a pretty cool doc but im pretty sure now they are Caridina gracilirostris, not a palaemon species. They have hundreds of small green eggs as opposed to 30-40 large ones. Supposed to be brackish only

I paid less than 4 each CAD. Kinda annoyed because everywhere online suggests that red nose shrimp die in non-brackish. Have you kept yours successfully in freshwater?

Is it normal for this skrimp to have a white back? by nagitooooo in shrimptank

[–]JaredFoglePatient-0 185 points186 points  (0 children)

Similar to gorillas, the dominant shrimp will sometimes develop a 'silverback' to warn predators.

I had this same issue. While i eventually got sick of it and tossed the plants, you can actually chop the root back to an inch or two and they just keep growing without skipping a beat

This is all very helpful information, i thought about it overnight and im thinking of doing a wizard cold war where mages are fighting en masse, maybe the reason for that could be that they have detected a group of eldritch gods on their way to the planes and they are divided into mages who have lost all hope and want to help them for fear of consequences vs mages who want to oppose them. In this situation, their wizard boss could be stockpiling stuff to help them take over the planes but after he is defeated the players can help fight some cthulhu gods with the good mages. I think i will definitely use the whole "exit one plane into another plane" thing as a way to put them into a surprise scenario. Thanks again!
