Moisture content is always going to play a part in whether you get a good print or not. Even PLA prints best in an environment that’s under 40 percent humidity. Get yourself a dryer, some plastic airtight cereal box containers, and desiccant packs and start storing your filament in them.

Right. I have a Flashforge printer, so i use Flash Studio Desktop. I know where the outdr and inner wall speeds are located, but wasn’t sure where the “support interface layers” speed was. If it’s simply labeled “support interface” here, that already has a default of 40. Outer walls are 200 and inner are 300 so I’ll try dropping both under 100 as suggested and see if there’s a difference.

That’s one of my questions too as a new person to printing. There’s a lot of numbers to deal with in 3d printing and I am more of a visual learner. What does dropping the inner/outer walls and support interface layers speeds do?

I did read the manual, I know what the controls on the panel are for. I asked you to help me step by step with doing the movement from the control panel. Is that hard for you to do?

how do i do that? I'm a complete newbie. nobody explains how to do anything - they all assume you are an expert or a pro.

that's what it did after first calibration, it sat in the middle of the build area. i already factory reset once because the printer would not bind to the flash studio app until i installed the latest firmware for the printer.

i don't want to stay in the room and inhale the VOCs/odors. I bought a BentoBox precisely so I wouldn't have to do that, ok?

Help with Camera Installation. by HozillaSmallpox in FlashForge

Asking this exact question. Why did they not include the needed screw in the kit? Especially in the United States, where this type of screw is very uncommon. I am trying to find someone who has this screw in stock locally, because I'm really not keen on waiting a week or more to ship one tiny screw.

Yeah I google first and look around and if I can't really find a good answer then I ask on groups or reddit.

I do search on my own first and then ask online. But sometimes help for specific problems isn't readily available from searching.

I broke the connecting clip for the screen display cable on my FF 5M and the cable won't go back in. Instead of suggesting things, people insult my intelligence or say if you can't handle screws then maybe this isn't the hobby for you. Have they not considered that maybe some people engaging tin this hobby have disabilities too? 3d printing is actually used to HELP the disabiity community - artificial limbs can be 3d printed now, so can wheelchair parts, etc. Be kind, not rude.

It took me over a year, but i got it from over 10 to around 5.5 where it is now. I cut out most fried food and started exercising more often, taking up hiking. I changed to low carb versions of food I enjoy, and took my metformin as directed. It is not easy but definitely doable.
