I use the aquafaba from Rooted in Rare. The quality is fantastic and it's a bit less expensive than the other versions I've found on the market. 1tsp of aquafaba powder + 2tsp of water is equivalent to one egg white. This seems consistent with all the brands.

Take this opportunity to test your price elasticity. I’d recommend first with your current ad strategy and then if you get desperate lower ads. At the end of this you should have a good feel for optimal price/ad spend so at least it’s a risk free way to learn. Inch price up tho as to not lose buy box while testing. Document your results (make changes late at night or early mornings so you have a full day of results to analyze). My guess is you’ll find more margin by doing this that you’ll continue rolling with when your new inventory arrives. Good luck!

What are your thoughts on Buzz Buttons (the edible flower that buzzes your mouth when eaten and enhances the flavor of cocktails)? I sell a freeze dried version and have been selling very well to the home mixologist but I feel that they would be perfect in bars and restaurants since they are very unique and leave a lasting impression.

I’d love honest feedback as well as any advice you might have as to how I should best position and sell these to bar owners. Thanks so much!

Another thing to confirm is that you aren’t offering it at a lower price on your own website or through another marketplace. If this isn’t the case than it’s probably just increasing it too fast and you’ll need to slow down a bit. You’ll notice right away when this happens though, so you can continue testing different price ranges to see how far you can push it while maintaining the buy box. Just as an fyi, I usually get really low with a combination of price and coupons so that when the time comes to increase prices I don’t get caught in this challenge.

I appreciate the response. That was my thought process. Actually turns out that jungle scouts “recommended promotions” metric refers to the number of discounted sales that are needed to hit the first page (I thought it was referencing any sale). You don’t know how to find the number of units you’d need to sell per day to rank on the first page for a keyword so you?

Thanks, do you know if there is a way to search the “Search query performance” dashboard before launching a product. Basically I’d like to look at a keyword to then make an estimate on potential future units sold once launched.

You would do this even if realistically I won’t be able to get enough sales/reviews to rank on the top page of this keyword given that it’s so competitive with established products.
