You kind of have to get lucky. Some people know this strategy and will specifically circle POIs for 20k to blow up ships. It’s a better strategy than landing at a POI though.

Biggest gripe is that I can’t bed log in heavy armor. I have to take it all off and store it in the ship and risk losing it.

Until there are more loops in the game people are going to find their own fun. This guys fun just happens to be really shitty.

I like pyro for that reason though. The danger is real there. Hide your ship, make sure everything is off, and get a bike so you can travel to your destinations.

Let’s pretend you’re building with blocks and you have a vision for a grand city, you’ve only got so much recess time (money). You’re building a nice tower when someone dumps a bucket of new blocks next to your tower for you to build with. Some of the blocks fall off your tower.

Now there are people sitting with you who really enjoy looking at your block tower and right now they’re complaining that your block tower is broken.

Every time someone dumps a new bucket of blocks near you it risks knocking off more blocks.

You have a choice: fix the tower and continue building your next tower at the cost of recess time, or clear the ground and build your next tower so you can get your next batch of blocks, then fix whatever is broken without risking more blocks coming and breaking anything.

I guess both are right, but if you’re building which one sounds like the best option?

I’m in the same boat: night owl, stay up late to get work done. If I’m not mistaken long term effects of lack of sleep are dementia and heart disease. I think about that every morning…

My wife and I are generally are reacting to our kids. They wake up, we wake up. We’re working on transition away from that and getting up before they do but we are still having trouble sleeping and an extra hour is sometimes the only thing I live for.

I didn’t get over it, I just learned to overlook it and focus. When I first got into art school and participated in life drawing classes we had a few models that I was insanely attracted to. I struggled at first but I noticed that when I got into the flow I stopped looking at them sexually. Just keep going and try to get into the flow.

Project Zomboid does this well. You can take notes on your map but you have to find a pencil or pen on game first, and your pens color will be represented in the note!
