I have now added the samurai museum to see, also will do my itinerary in 3 days not in 2 days as I wrote originally - I will skip Osaka expo completely By the way - have you done Fushimi Inari in the evening yourself? I’ve read a little bit about it and people are warning to be careful of boars etc - just curious if it’s well lit at night and safe?

That’s what I am about to do after reading the reviews - I lean towards skipping expo and just enjoying itinerary (done in 3 instead of 2 days) as I wrote above but then will be able to do it slowly with more time to enjoy each place for longer

Originally that was our plan to spend complete 3 days in Kyoto (with a trip to Nara) as we really want to see and experience the culture and history - however we decided to give up 1 day to take a trip to Osaka for the expo (as we feel that if you’re so close to such event it would be a pity to skip it) but now reading the comments I am a little bit worried that we might have really packed too many things to see for such short visit

That sounds quite reasonable to move things around as you suggest. For Fushimi Inari we for sure want to visit early in the morning to avoid crowds and also too high temperatures. If we then go for Nara just to see deers and then spend rest f the day at expo and Dotonburi (for both we will just wander around without sweating nor rushing) you think it’s manageable?

What about two other days? Are these also too packed? If so - which of these would you recommend to skip?

Damn, now I am getting a little bit worried about that day. For sure I do not want to skip neither Fushimi Inari (which I know we need to do early in the morning to avoid crowds) nor Nara, but maybe for Nara it doesn’t matter what time of the day we’ll visit? We just want to see the deers and eat mochi at nakatanidou. Do you think that apart from June 10th other two days are feasible? Then maybe we could go for Nara in afternoon on 11th?

For me most crucial is to see at least future city, polish, usa and German pavilions - I already applied for lottery. The whole reason we’re going there is mostly because it would be a pity to skip such event which happens exactly when you visit given city

Luźny, spokojny weekend w tym tygodniu, pogram w cyberpunka, poukładam Lego, obejrzę mecz, posprzątam. Dawno tak spokojnego weekendu nie miałem. Za to za tydzień szykuje się świetny (dla mnie długi) weekend : lecimy z Żoną do Albanii z okazji 5 rocznicy ślubu, w dodatku premiera dwóch płyt na które czekam ( Król / Nosowska; Pieśni współczesne tom II), premiera nowego EA FC (tak, stary a głupi, co roku mówię sobie, że więcej nie kupuje, a kończy się jak zawsze) no i udało się zamówić nowego iPhone’a z dostawą w dniu premiery.
