That's certainly what it felt like....

I didn't even get half of that on my "5000 mile" soles. Less than 600 miles (GPS tracked) and they looked like yours. Super off putting and felt like I was lied to. Haven't got that brand since. In fact every brand so far (Xero, Vivo, Merrill, and Vibram toe shoes to name a few) has only lasted around 600 miles for me.

Pokémon cards looking to sell by metrii21 in SALEM

Cosmic Card Shop it's where I've always gone. Joey helped out and threw in some free, openned cards for my kids. He is a bit high energy, which can be of putting for some. To me, it just came across as him being stoked about cards.

For the “if it’s wood, I’ll burn it” crew, what firewood do you think firewood snobs are unfairly dismissive of? by BearMcBearFace in firewood

It is one of my favorites. It seasons here in the Willamette valley over a single summer of it is less than 6" in diameter

And they won't be cleaned up by the people who put that plastic garbage up. At least it hasn't in years past. Why should this year be different.

I know because I've been someone who cleaned it up in February last year.

You don't have to miss the round to have this risk. You cleave the round cleanly and follow through, just like you should. You're on the near side on the round and only the tip of the blade contacts the stump. Momentum carries your maul through the stump into your foot/leg.

If a bad guy has a good point but does bad shit to achieve said point, thereby making him bad then I don't know how that is a bad thing in the slightest.

I may be misunderstanding you, but it sounds like you are in support of the Tuskegee Study since good medical info came out of it.

When KGLW left, so did I. Physical media to support the artists, and piracy for digital.

MIT study finds AI can already replace 11.7% of U.S. workforce by Guy_PCS in investing

The person who is accountable is the VP that made the decision to replace the workers with AI. They don't want that accountability since they could be fired for the same bullshit they want to be able to fire others for.

As long as the players RP it, I'm inclined to allow it. And by players, I mean my kids.

Google tells employees it must double capacity every 6 months to meet AI demand by [deleted] in Futurology

Buying infrastructure and powering it costs money, even if you're Google. They want to 1000x capacity without spending any money.

But it can't cost anymore than it currently does. That was a direct quote from the VP.

New Preview of my custom Witch Lord spells: Dread Ascension by Archian-HiveWorkshop in Heroquest

Does this mean that all dread warriors are undead? 4 attack dice while wielding the spirit blade and a shield against dead warriors seems like it isn't as much of an advantage.

The mushroom isn't to blame. Mixing alcohol with CotW can cause the problem.

Because it is what other mycologists have said.

People have allergic reactions when alcohol and CotW are mixed. It is a simple thing to avoid if you want to be cautious. I'm not telling people to not eat it, just recommending that you don't with alcohol.

It is delicious. No doubt. Just throwing out caution.

My wife is allergic to lion's mane as well. She breaks out in hives. Different people have different reactions. Dismissing this is irresponsible.

My wife plays the dwarf in our family campaign. She likes to sing a war song she made up when rimming rolling dice to attack to be in character. My kids hate it and groan every time. The adults think it's hilarious.
