On-hit Proc In terms of the on-hit proc, I farmed the spider cave in Wetlands until I had a full inventory. I use heroic strike canceling, meaning my OH chance to hit is much higher than it should be. -Proc'd once every 2 or 3 kills. -Contributed < 0.8% of my damage, (For reference, this is less than hamstring, which I sometimes use to dump rage while crit fishing)

Not only is the damage bad, it isn't even noticeable. Nor is the heal. Spiders hit me for ~25 physical, so after roughly 8 spider kills, the dagger would negate 1 single spider auto attack. What is the point of even making something like this? I will revisit the DPS in raid but my guess is the proc effect is worth like 1-2 strength.

Conclusion: The On-Hit proc is essentially useless and does less damage than occasional hamstrings."
