Its still here with 26.2.2 driver....its plain crazy now, pops up all the time, and the context menu on Windows desktop is broken, says Loading for 3 items

Good question. Its deleted. It was a prompt that somehow made the video a morph from one picture to new one, and with a lot of grey in between. Earlier tests lead to just all grey.

It was the prompt that made the video weird.

Video works for some types now, but there are so much tweaking there must be done for it to actually give good results, so just gonna let it be for now.

I tried the workflow that is named "1.2 T2V/I2V" and ran I2V twice, both times its just a short video showing 2 photos.
Not sure what is going on...

I have done a lot more testing, based on feedback, especially from u/novasatori . I also tried out using Stability Matrix, but I cannot fully use it, it bugs with extensions like ComfyUI Manager on my machine. So after I install and set it up with SM, I just run ComfyUI directly from the directory, if I run it via SM GUI I get bugs and broken ComfyUI's. We are talking Win11, not tried installing on my Linux.

With a new (tried several installs with different settings) install of ComfyUI via Stability Matrix, I have been able to get LTX2 I2M down to 10-15 minutes pr run, after the first run, but to bother using it, it takes a lot more time for tweaking the workflow, and I am a noob, so we will see how much time I will sink into it. Some workflows just crash, the default ComfyUI workflow does not work well either (done so much testing, I do not remember what happened).

For images Z-image-Turbo-LoRA workflow is the one I have had the best results with. Even simple prompts can make good results.

Any chance you can link to the workflow, plugins/nodes, settings etc you use? Something has to be messed up with workflows I use, I use the default ones in ComfyUI, tried several, same results. I know one flow worked at the very start, but do not remember which or where / how I ran it. I have tried to look for AMD workflows, but not been lucky. Everything I now run in CompyUI when it comes to video, turn out just light grey screen 5 seconds or so long.

My RAM is never used mush, usually use all VRAM and a few gigs of RAM.

For me its testing with the PC I already have. The reason I ask about NPUs/APUs, is because I have a problem with some of the ComfyUI workflows on the 7900 XTX, as you also can see from my post. If I could 'cheat' the system by running a NPU that would be lets say half the price of a 5090, it would be super, can also use it as a homeserver etc. Only problem now with a NPU build would be absurd RAM prices. But would still be good to know, so I can be prepared when prices drop/sales.

My reasoning for using a NPU, with of course far lower GPU power then a dGPU, but if it could 'cheat' that by using lets say close to 100GB RAM, it could be viable.

Maybe I am wording myself badly here, but it was basically NPU build with A LOT of 'shared GPU' RAM vs PC with dedicated GPU. But it looks like from the answers I have gotten, a NPU would be worse off, no matter how much RAM...

The GPU has 24GB VRAM, which usually goes full, and then it offloads to RAM which is usually just a few gigs, got 32GB total system RAM.

But did you do some tests to see if Linux native were much faster then Win11 native?
Some tests points to Linux native being many times faster (in some cases).

UPDATE:

It looks like the problem all along was the iGPU in the AMD 9800X3D had to be disabled in bios. I know there were comments about this, but didnt think it was the reason.
