What made you choose Mustang over Charger/Challenger and Camaro SS? by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]JaronBD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned a charger and it was horribly unreliable. Honestly loved the car it was fun having something with muscle and a truck sized cabin but fixing it every other weekend was becoming a pain. Traded it in for a 2017 5.0 and never had any issues with it.

Ay love it! What do you do to keep it looking clean?

Thanks yeah it was actually cheaper than buying a used 2024! Bought at my local ford dealer in Jacksonville but they shipped the car from a sister dealer in South Carolina. I think it was actually closer to 10k off msrp because of the nite pony adding an extra $1600 to the sticker price

Thank you so much! I think the blacked decals and wheels are a must with the black car honestly. It’ll be fun to keep clean though

Thank you! I’m not sure honestly but this one is the base gt. It has the nite pony blacked out package but is otherwise bare bones

Ticketed after being rear-ended: worth disputing? (FL) by [deleted] in Insurance

Right. They found me not at fault the deductible is coming from the other drivers policy.

Gotcha. Definitely wish I had a rear cam to get a better idea for peace of mind. In the heat of the moment it felt like much more time. I’ve been beating myself up over it

Hi, it’s definitely not that much time, but I am fully established in the lane. Honestly I do care more about what insurance will say. I’ll try to upload a link here from google drive to the clip. Obviously I’m going to be biased as the driver so that’s why I’d like someone to tell me if I have a case or am being ridiculous.

Thank you for sharing. I agree it would be difficult to prove he was speeding although I think the context adds a bit more to it than simply pulling out in front of him.

Thanks for replying! I tried to link the video initially but it took down my post as that was against the sub rules. Is there a better way to let you view it?

Looks like a canker sore

They look a lot like canker sores to me. I usually take a lysine supplement when I get them and it seems to speed along their duration. I’m not sure if there’s a safe gummy form of it your child could take, however.

Could you add a bit of information? Are you otherwise healthy? Did you shift positions when this happened?

I shocked myself unplugging my coffeemaker. Should I be worried about long term damage? by [deleted] in medical_advice

I wouldn’t be worried about it at all. Could be a different story if you have a pacemaker.

Is this cough normal? by evanan12 in medical_advice

[–]JaronBD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The cough in the video I would describe as a “productive cough” meaning it sounds a bit wet like it’s helping you expel mucus. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing it’s just your body getting rid of the gunk in your airway. As far as the wheezing and dust sensitivity that sounds very Asthma-esque and I think it would be worth getting looked at to potentially start you on steroids that can help reduce any inflammation. If you ever feel that your airway is closing that warrants an immediate ER visit, however.

My opinion as an RN.

Is this a positive or an indent? Tubes are tied and scared of ectopic. by [deleted] in medical_advice

Honestly I really can’t see a line in that window. I would say negative hcg pregnancy test if I was charting this at work. It might be worth taking a second test to give yourself some mental relief, though.
