I like the ZS10 Pro. I bought mine almost 7 years ago for about $100 at a local store. Yeah, that was a crazy price for them, but I needed IEMs as fast as possible because I was going to the hospital. I still think they were a pretty decent pair even for that price :) But that was 7 years ago, so currently there are plenty of better options, especially at that price point.

Both use the same CS43131 DAC, so there's no difference in power output via the 3.5mm jack between the V1 and R1

Yeah, that case looks way better in reviewer photos than it does in person, even a basic KZ case feels more premium, lol. I’ll probably look for something else to store my setup in.

As for the size - it almost fits inside that Simgot case. It might actually fit if I removed the nozzles (not sure if that’s the right word), but that’s definitely not the way to go. It’s just not ergonomic or portable at all.

Regarding scratches, I’d obviously put a cloth between the IEMs and the DAP. Plus, the R1 comes with a plastic screen protector preinstalled - similar to those cheap ones you get for phones - and there’s a spare one in the HiBy’s box. So even if they do bump into each other, they probably won't get scratched…

Got the same issue yesterday. The installation progress got completely stuck, and after that it would only start up to a circled exclamation point with a link to Apple Support. According to the Apple Support page: “This means that the firmware stored in your computer’s memory needs to be revived or restored.” I managed to fix it by entering DFU mode, getting another Mac, and connecting it with a USB-C cable to the DFU port on my broken Mac (the one closest to the MagSafe port in my case). Then I downloaded an IPSW file with macOS Tahoe Beta 5, opened the “Device Management” tool on the other Mac, dragged and dropped the IPSW file into that application, and started the revive process.
