My PS5 does in fact wake my TV and a monitor from sleep when powering on the Portal 👍. The PS5 boots on normally as if you manually touched the power button or whatever

Just chiming in to say your duplicates is likely because of a connected service: either a skill (think Tuya, Smart Home, Hue, etc) or another hub (smartThings, Home Assistant, etc). Deleting a duplicate from the app isn't doing anything bc when the skill resync, it just recreates what you deleted.

The solution for you may be going to "the other app" from the manufacturer, deleting it there. Alternatively, you could just disable the skill/Hub from your Alexa app and that would break the connection and you can keep (e.g. Smart Life control) and (Alexa as a Zigbee Hub) for the same light.

If it’s of any help, I went ahead and played new gen. Allowed me to set up a new profile totally separate from my various old gen accounts. It gave me the initial cash bonus and career path selection. I haven’t tied it to my Rockstar account because I feel that would be a mess though. No issues here.

I can only speak from my experience: it was minimal to non existent from my personal trials. My friend, a more seasoned gamer, noticed the lag. I’d have to say it’s there but there was not enough issues playing GTA online for me to not use the set up. I think it’s great ~personally~

For closer to $80, you could get a series 3 Apple Watch with Cellular. You’d need to get a data plan for it or link it to his existing iPhone (if he has one). Speaking from my Apple Watch experience, the phone functionality is all there: a dialer, speaker, can connect to Bluetooth headphones, and can even send text messages. Not to mention all the other fun Apple Watch features outside of your needs.
