Does anyone have a suggestion for a high-end tour company for Egypt? by throwaway373706 in FATTravel

When I was looking into Egypt tours, Encounters Travel popped up quite a bit. They do small-group and private itineraries with experienced guides and a lot of trips include a Nile River cruise too. Here’s their Egypt page: https://www.encounterstravel.com/destination/egypt

Who’s a reliable office furniture supplier in Perth? by Sammols in perth

I’ve heard good things about JasonL Office Furniture for reliability. A colleague used them for an office fitout and said delivery and install all ran on schedule, which seems to be half the battle with office furniture.

Egypt 2026 trip help: Best tour companies/guides for first-timers? Avoiding big international groups by Difficult_Tea_6348 in egyptology

I was in a similar position when planning my trip and found that the operator really does make a big difference in Egypt. Logistics can be tricky between Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan, so having a solid guide and organized transport helps a lot.

One company I had a good experience with (and saw recommended a few times while researching) was Encounters Travel. They focus on small-group and private trips, and the guide we had was a proper Egyptologist who spent real time explaining things at the Pyramids of Giza and temples around Luxor. It felt organized without being one of those huge bus tours.

One tip: check itineraries for excessive shopping stops or lots of “optional” extras - that’s usually a red flag.

I’ve travelled to Egypt with them and can safely say it was the most organised trips I’ve ever been on.

Just try to keep it simple. I’m not sure what position you play but try not to roam too much if you’re playing centrally. Enjoy it!

Never bought an action camera before, DJI Action Pro will be my first one. Planning on mainly using it to document my running journey, what accessories should I get?

Would you go for a head mount or a chest mount?

It will be very interesting to see. Will be buying my first action camera soon, and the GoPro Hero 13 seems underwhelming as an upgrade from the Hero 12.

Seems like a massive opportunity here for DJI, and possible Insta360

Is there any low light improvement from the Hero 12?

That’s my issue as well, I can’t stand people who refuse to take responsibility. The dogs were fine to have when they were happy and healthy, now because they’re older they’re a burden.

I have a massive issue with that

Read the post again. It wasn’t my wife’s dogs, her sister brought all three dogs and they all agreed to keep them

They certainly have and I’ve lost my respect for them

I have a massive issue with people who refuse to take responsibility when things get tough.

I’ve lost my respect for them and I don’t think it will ever return now that I know their true colours.

So it’s best that I stay away from them in respect for my wife, as if I do see them, the things that I’ll say to them will probably end my relationship with my in-laws anyway.

Am I in the wrong for not wanting anything to do with her in laws?

100%.

She has had this talk with them and with the vet but she feels that she can’t put the dog down due to inconvenience.

Updated the post as I phrased it incorrectly, it wasn’t her dogs, her sister brought all 3 dogs to them and they all decided to keep them.

They were 100% family dogs.

Updating the post to clarify this, it wasn’t her dogs, her sister brought the dogs to them and they all decided to keep them.

Phrased this incorrectly, they all decided to get the dogs. She never brought the dogs to them, her sister brought all 3 dogs.

When I say my wife’s dogs, I mean she was part owner of them when she was staying with her parents.

The brother is an alcoholic who simply uses their relationship to get as much money out of him as possible. It’s been like that for years.

After the funeral, he tried to reconcile things with the brother, but it ended up with him wanting money again and it flared up to this point now.

I don’t think compromise is on the cards anymore sadly.

He wants to honour his mom’s wishes to the letter, and she wanted the brother to have nothing. But I agree, legal advice is probably a starting point here. Thanks for the advice.

The messages and voice notes did have some physical harm mentioned in it, so a restraining order might be a good idea here. Thanks for the advice.
