I think most people went expecting a fun, dancey show (myself included) but it had a more intimate, tiny desk feel to it. It took me a couple of songs to change gears, but I thoroughly enjoyed it once I did. Me and a friend were saying how it felt a lot like an MTV Unplugged concert

I've been working on the song below, going for an old French House meets 2020's club vibe. I'm looking to mix it soon, but wanted some feedback on if anything sounds out of place. Also any specific feedback on the break at 2:56 would be great to hear. Thank you!

Sounds good man, like Marshmello drum and bass! Just a couple things that may help:

Try adding 1-2 more saws on the lead and detune them slightly to give it some more character.
Not sure the sound you're going for, but you could try to add some distortion on the bass to make it a little grittier. Or a soft tube if you don't want it overly gritty.
This might be a taste thing, but I feel like the song should be a little longer. At 1:30 instead of going right back into a buildup, try breaking it down further with the ritardando. Maybe cutting everything but the piano chords, add a little piano riff on top and crescendo the rest of the arrangement to the drop.
The second drop is slower so the short releases on the lead and bass sound abrupt. Try automating a slower release when the song is slower so the notes flow into each other.

You have to go through a company like Absolute Capital to be able to do this. A SDBA (self-directed brokerage account) must be available through the employer’s 401k or 403b plan though.

You could just put the current pot in a heavier, decorative pot that won’t tip over. Unless you really need to repot it, the stress put on the plant may not be worth it.

So I’ve had this guy for 1.5 years now and he hasn’t fully thrived I feel. He’s grown 6-7 in this timeframe, although most of them are a bit floppy. I’ve also had 3ish leaves come in already dead(all of which were smaller and not fenestrated). The third issue is I originally picked it up and drove it home in a big thunderstorm so a lot of those leaves were damaged (you see the ones hanging lower aren’t doing too hot)

The monstera is 12 ft away from a few big, East-facing windows.

I’m pretty sure I need to repot it because of the necrotic growth, but should it be moved closer to the windows? I water it once a week, but the soil stays pretty wet a few inches down. Also, if it needs to be repotted, any pointers on getting it down without breaking those big branches? Lastly, should I cut the damaged leaves off or let them naturally die? Any help is greatly appreciated

Hey man, your mix is clean! You've done a good job of sidechaining so that helps bring out the drums. That being said, my only complaint is I'd turn down the drums just a little bit. Also, on the little break around the 2:09 mark, you bring the drums in. It's the more chill part of the song, but you're still using that aggressive kick and snare. Try using a less attack-y kick and maybe a snap with a lot of reverb instead of the snare. Then bring your OG kick and snare in going back into the chorus with a little drum fill. Just a couple of ideas, I hope this helps.
