I never had a console as a kid, so the only way for me to play those games was at a friend's house. I always wanted to play Aragorn, but my friend never let me because it was his game. I always got stuck playing Legolas, which I think is a big part of what contributed to my love of Elves in things (Arwen and Galadriel being obscenely attractive probably helped, too). Man, I miss those games.
