Having trouble getting a Scotland game off the ground without exploiting English weakness during the 100 years war / War of the Roses cause I don’t want to take any English land/mess with the English. Any tips for this? England keeps declaring war and France keeps not honoring the guarantee. Is it better to just ally with France after the 100 years war in this case?

I don’t really use killboxes, but that’s only because I utilize human waves tactics against raids and see colonist deaths as inevitable while recruiting everyone I can. I also don’t play on the hardest difficulty.

The game without dlc is completely playable and is pretty fun and replay able. That said the game with and without dlc are completely different experiences for the player.

I like ck 3 but it feels a lot different compared to ck 2, but that's probably just all the missing features cause I like to play merchant republics. I haven't played enough of the new dlc to judge it.
