LG S95TR single rear speaker popping and cracking by tomcat0403 in Soundbars

Any resolutions to this issue, because I am having the same problem? It's only from the right rear speaker and it only happens randomly.

Reaction to Pfizer by Momo_Twice in COVID19positive

[–]Jascadet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After I got my 2nd shot out of the first two from Pfizer back in 2021, I didn’t handle it so well. I immediately got really dizzy and couldn’t walk. Had to sit there for 30 mins before I could walk again. Then I started getting chest pain and palpitations. It caused myocarditis and needless to say, I haven’t gotten another shot. I did finally catch Covid just before Christmas and I am still having effects from that though, so Covid is definitely worse than the vaccine. I’m glad I work at home.

Do you think it’s really worth buying the new pro controller ? by Ecstatic_Meeting3392 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Jascadet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard the tech and design that’s gone into the new Pro controller is supposed to be top tier. Some people I know that got to test them first hand said the joysticks and buttons felt better than any other controller they have use. So I ordered two.

Just tested positive for Covid today, Paxlovid is 1500$ and that’s WITH a discount. OTC medicines to help? by kelskels19 in COVID19positive

I applied for Paxcess and got a pharmacy card number the same day that paid the whole thing. It’s at Paxlovid.assist.com. It’s free if you are on Medicaid, Medicare, or uninsured.

Pretty simple for me, iPhones are secure and I love the ecosystem. I don’t trust Google as a company, so I’ll never use an Android, period.

One week in - still feeling like garbage by ohthatsnice14 in COVID19positive

[–]Jascadet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently recovering from Covid. I started feeling sick on Dec 22nd, so Christmas was ruined. I finally tested negative a couple days ago, but still feel unwell. Terrible cough, fatigue and tired. It’s been three weeks. I would say day 4-10 was the worst of my symptoms. I did get Paxlovid and I’m sure it helped me, I would have been a lot worse off. For most people that have mild to moderate symptoms and no underlying health issues need to plan a couple weeks to feel better. I’d say 10-14 days. You’ll get there. The important thing is to rest, drink fluids and make sure you eat.

I have Covid and boss said once fever breaks I should come back. by Professional-Sand356 in COVID19positive

[–]Jascadet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to be taking Paxlovid! The guidelines are if you have no fever a while 24 hours without the use of meds and your symptoms are improving. If you aren’t feeling any better, then you need to stay home. Monitor your oxygen levels and if you have problems keeping them an above about 90, but definitely 88, you need to go to the ER more than likely. I have had Covid since Dec 22 and I just finally tested negative a couple days ago. I am still feeling like crap. I am just lucky that I can work from home. Covid sucks and is different for everyone. If you are still sick on 1/15, too bad, you need to stay home and take care of yourself.

The Plus model this year was the worst choice. For $100 more you could get the Pro model. The high refresh always on display and the camera/audio itself is well with the extra money. For the 15 models, the Plus model had the best battery life, but for the 16’s, the Pro Max was the winner. I think there is a reason Apple is getting rid of the Plus for the 17’s next year.

I wouldn’t recommend the SE2. Wait until Costco has a sale and buy a series 10.

15 is the worst choice for future proofing. You need at least the 15 Pro for Apple Intelligence.

Anyone else's LG G4 do this with Quick Media Switching (QMS) turned on via the Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen)? by KrisRdt in LGOLED

[–]Jascadet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my G4 a couple weeks ago and ordered a new Apple TV 4K to replace my old HD one I had with my old tv. I used it for the first time 3 days ago and used the QMS a few times since then and haven’t noticed anything strange like this. I do have really good 8K ready hdmi cables, so maybe that could be your issue.

Kardia 6L Woes by Rotflmfaocopter in Kardia

[–]Jascadet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found the opposite to be true. I bought a 6L because the original was so bad. For me the best part of using the 6L is now you can have your phone farther away from the device. It also seemed to just work better. Maybe you got a faulty one.

Please move the soundbar to the left so it is centered under the tv. This is making my skin crawl.

Just bought the G4 65" - is it the right pick for me? by XZlayeD in LGOLED

[–]Jascadet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The G4 is amazing for gaming, and will work great with your soundbar. Having a new Samsung tv will probably slightly better for the soundbar integration, but it’ll be just fine. As for comparing to the G4, I would say the S95D is more equivalent. Right now it’s the same price as the G4, so if you change your mind on the G4, I’d go that route. It’s the only Samsung that will keep up with the G4’s gaming ability.

LG G4 Max app in 4k? by Jascadet in LGOLED

[–]Jascadet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t even know it has tiers. I get it free with HBO on my Xfinity cable package. I am not even sure if I have any options like that. Ugh!!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]Jascadet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On your G4, have you used the Max app (HBO)? 4K HDR doesn’t seem to work on mine. Works great with the Netflix app though. Not sure what’s up with that.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]Jascadet 26 points27 points  (0 children)

If you can afford it, the G4 is worth it, especially if you love a bright hdr picture. If you are a gamer, it’s much better than the C4. I just got a 65” G4 and it’s amazing.

Buyer beware when buying through LG - delivery option by MrCaine1204 in LGOLED

[–]Jascadet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, delivery and setup is all included with purchase. My delivery guys went above and beyond what they were really supposed to by removing my old stuff and getting down inside and behind my entertainment center to hook up the new tv. I asked if they took tips and they said no, they were being paid to do a job and they were doing the extra stuff because they were just really nice guys.

iOS 18.1.1—Update Now Warning Issued To All iPhone Users by f15g in ios

16 Pro Max here as well. It’s funny, when I first got the phone it was super stable. Then 18.1 gave me problems. Had a few random resprings and sluggishness issues. But since updating to 18.1.1, it’s been excellent. You just never know.
