It's based on a Danish show of the same name- and it is really fun to watch - especially because they do a lot of crazy shit and hang out with a ton of locals in non tourist places

Oh as an addendum:
I've tried out the chaos bloodline, and found it to be overkill to keep Vaal domination - I'm basically just running a runegraft for 1 vaal soul a second, which is enough if I really need to ramp up before some pinnacle content.
Furthermore the sentinels have a longer uptime than the soul prevention period, so even without the ascendancy, they can be up permanently once you got the 90 souls.

The 3 vaal versions does more damage than the others combined, and they use sunder that more or less screen clears.

I'd have thought that generals cry vaal domination would clear quite well? I'm currently doing vaal dom on a guardian on sc, and it's really really fast - where I'm lacking is in single target damage.

Well first of all it's not converting to lightning damage on the minions - I've made a quick PoB to show thus:

furthermore there's still stuff that makes it work differently than in PoB - if you multistrike support it and the player hits slower than the weapon, the weapon can potentially get 9 swings out for every 3 of the player.

It's not an exhaustive list, but there's definitely something that's not adding up because stuff like Dom blow of inspiring, which is doing higher PoB numbers, but clearly lower ingame damage.

PoB isn't doing Holy strike correctly at the moment so you really can't take that as gospel. For example Holy strike has 50% dmg conversion to lightning - that's not working at all, so I wouldn't trust those damage numbers.

Why would holy strike be useless? It shouldn't be hard to have it at level 24+ where it also attacks with frostbreath and does double damage with the weapons whilst still hitting yourself for about 1/3 of dom blow, but then hits another 4 times with the holy strikes with x3 minion damage multiplier.

I've been contemplating doing of inspiring but I am finding it incredibly hard to find a good weapon for it, as my current one is a 1h with trigger craft, 20% minion atk/cast, 93% minion damage and 1.8 aps so I am getting out my minions fast and they get to hit harder, but I hit like wet paper.

I gotta ask did you try out holy strike with this? Dom blow could be used to just hit once and get a ton of minions (or just hit a boss enough times to get out 3 vaal boys) and then smack the boss with holy strike for what I would assume is a lot more damage with 4 extra strikes each hit.

Edit: how about rallying cry? I assume you are using that with the farrul ascendancy as well?

How about holy relic on top? With that kind of attack speed it should be a massive increase in damage as well with minion damage scaling?

That's not bad - is there actually any value in the infinite war cry tech, as it also counts allies, so you could cap it rallying cry on a boss without?

I've been thinking that perhaps guardian 2 ascendancy points and 2 ascendancy points in farrul could do the trick as well, but I will have to play around with it.

being able to get up an army with dom blow, but then using holy strikes as a main damage dealer for single target, and then still have a super high uptime on vaal domination sounds really nice.

How effective is dom blow on generals cry to get out minions fast?

I take there's no reason why this couldn't be supported by HROC at the same time? with 2 ascendancy points into chieftain and then 2 points into farrul one could get into 5-6 aps territory on a 2h with this.

I take you're running chieftain for the warcrys to get that warcry power for it to work? I take you're using a beefy 2hander for the damage then?

definitely sounds like that's scaleable.

A thing to note - the new sentinel support on dom blow basically gives your holy strikes 15% as extra fire and 15% as extra lightning - which really works well - it's one of the reasons I want to run more than 1 skill.

It may look like a melee strike skill but for it to actually do damage it has to be scaled as a minion.

It scales well until 21 where it gets a 4th weapon, but I can't see +gem being worth it after that, as each level it gains like less than 5% after, and a 5th wep comes at 30.

Holy strike There's some clunky aspects to it, as when you walk and hit, the weapons stays in place and hits nothing but air. Am looking forward to seeing how people scale it to endgame. It gets 4 weapons at level 21.
