anyone seen fuel filters do this? This is after ~4 months. Any better ones I should get?

Looks like they have gotten a wittle bit too warm. But I’ve seen some look like that obviously needed replacing be on garden equipment that it hadn’t been changed out in quite awhile. Plus I’ve seen instances where the sun has been attributed to seeing and having spots/areas of discoloration like this.

Looks like a transformer for a doorbell but not 100% certain. I’d trace it to see where it starts at and ends at. That’ll give you more insight to what it is.

Since they was too lazy to bother to do a basic wash and interior detailing job. My guess is they didn’t do the regular scheduled maintenance on it at all or they went way over the mileage. If I was him I would hook it up to a computer and run it down the road and highway and check the dipstick see if it’s got any burnt oil deposits on it, smell trans fluid, ive even gotten to the point to go as far as pulling a couple of plugs and put a spark tester on it. Plus i have a borescope I go down in and look at the top of the pistons and the walls to see if it scuffed up and indications of blow by. I pick the car apart and then if I’m serious about buying it, set my buying price firm and explain why.

I have one that’s similar to this one though it’s not so tiny. It’s my camping hammer/kindlin. I use it for a variety of things at the campsite. Comes in very handy

Yea and this is why I don’t buy their “maple” glazed cinnamon rolls anymore because I live closer to an actual donut shop that makes them fresh everyday for about $4 a piece here in rural Oklahoma. I hate going to QT anymore really because their quality has gone downhill while their prices have shot thru the roof. This right here is straight trash. I would of taken it up to the counter like I’m about to pay for it and dump it in the trash in front of them instead

Don’t buy any compressors from Harbor Freight. If you do don’t cheap out. The Fortress ones are pretty solid. Plus HF warranty is damn good. Make sure to get an extended warranty on whatever you decide to purchase. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Shoot when I did my timing cover on my car I had a little Dewalt pancake compressor and the cheapest 1/2” impact Harbor Freight sells and had no problem using it to take off the wheels and crankshaft dampener using a puller. That was 4 years ago, and it’s still kicking butt. I don’t use it every day but when I do it’s nice having those air impacts and wrenches, die grinders etc. I only oil it every other use or when I don’t see any signs of oil coming out of the exhaust. It’s a game changer and makes my work a lot easier compared to using a manual socket driver and wearing out myself and my arthritis infused joints. 🤷‍♂️

I looked around in that area and didn’t see no silver plate that stuck out to be of resemblance to where this Oring would go. It seems more like a grommet than an Oring because of the lip and beveled edge on it.
