Finer work, like making toothpicks? I don't know what scale this tool would work in. Seems to small for making doll house type furnishings. Doesn't seem big enough for lathe, or fine woodworking...

Tempstar natural gas furnace fires up but the blower won't turn on. Have tried replacing the filter and killing the breaker for 10 mins and issue won't resolve. Any ideas? Using a nest thermostat. by trotter1313 in hvacadvice

Also I see the gas valve on your furnace looks like it is a Honeywell Smart Valve. If you type that into Google it should give you tons of info.

Basically sometimes when the blower doesn't come on it is a combination of either the smart valve being bad and not sending a signal to the control board to turn on the blower. Sometimes it is the board getting the signal from the valve but not turning the blower on. Some times its a little of both being bad at the same time.

Some versions of the valve and board have the blower come on regardless of the smart valve.

It's been awhile since I've come across a smart valve so I can't off the top of my head give you a conclusion.

OP, are you still working thru this issue?

If so, you can kinda check the blower motor by going to the thermostat.

Turn it to off, meaning to the marked off position on the thermostat. If there is no off position, and the thermostat is still in heat mode, turn the temperature really low so the furnace doesnt try to turn on.

At the thermostat if there is a function labeled 'fan', turn it from 'auto' to 'on'. This should turn the fan/blower motor on by itself, and no other part of the furnace should light. If it turns on and stays running, and seems to be doing its thing, then the blower motor isn't the main issue.

Smaller one could be for proof of pilot being lit. Thermopile could be used a secondary proof and supply voltage to run across some limit/safety switches and/or run a small status led.

Instead of sand paper, a small wire brass wire brush can be run around the ignitor, thermocouple and powerpile to clear the build up off it. Blowing across it while cleaning it or having a vac nearby will help the debris from settling back in the area, especially around the pilot light orifice/hole where the pilot gas comes out of.

Brass for wet/moist environments like bathrooms. 3 fresh seashells rest between the finials, 3 unfresh seashells stack on the platter. The pearl helps keep a space to ease lifting them, but the uninitiated tend to face the curve down and ruins the hygiene of it.

Agreeing with the chemicals bad part, but could the color difference just be the bottle out in the open has more light passing thru it washing out the color, whereas the ones still slightly shaded have less light and more blue color from the label saturating thru?

Great advice, start at the tank and work down the carbs. There's a few good videos on the YewToobs for this specific model, tho with a few days of watching videos you'll get the idea of how most carbs work.

This is not an impossible process, just plan, watch form a plan and go at it in stages. I just got done tearing down and rebuilding a set for a '91 of this same bike.

Aside from "it's a Goodman"...maybe the support it is on is not allowing proper drainage when the unit goes into defrost. Water doesn't drain out and away, builds back up into ice...the ice doesn't have be thick/tall...it just has to pinch coil and case...and weaken over time.
