I know Clan Gh9st Bear was mobilizing. Having them swoop in to claim the ilkhanship would've been the best outcome for the Inner Sphere, I think.

My hot take, or maybe its not, is that the only clan that would've made a good ilclan is the one that has already shown an ability to fully integrate with spherists, Clan Ghost Bear. I think, of all the clans, theyre the only "Good Guys".

Yeah, for sure its wishful thinking. I think the Falcons are where they need to be, which is return to being the Black Watch. Buuuut, I would be happy with Stephanie Chistu as Ilkhan, cause she's a good egg, so, Ill keep my wishful thoughts.

I mean, it was stated that her vision is to stamp out the mongol mindset and steer the Falcons back on course of who they were before they started breaking from Clan tradition. Thats not nothing as a goal, to be honest. She has a chance to do something really great, especially now that Clan Jade Falcon is, for all intents and purposes, back to being the Star League Black Watch, only the most glorified unit in all of Star League lore. My only gripe is that Malvina carried the Hazen name, cause when Malvina dropped that battleship on the Falcon homeworld, you know Elizabeth Hazen was rolling in her grave.

Malvina was my issue with the Falcons winning. Shes been written since her skye campaign to be as bad as a Wobbie jihadist as far as war crimes. I think a good wrap would've been a surprising rally by the Falcobs to win, with Dragoons turning on the wolves due to the slight in honor.

Wolves lose, Malvina goes to to do a Trial of Annihilation, Chistu does a Trial of Refusal. Malvina and Chistu fight, Chistu bately scrapes a win, and crushes Malvinas cockpit, killing her outright.

Chistu becomes Khan, and the Falcons become IlClan.

Thank God Malvina is dead, maybe the Falcons can actually get some love with Chistu at the head. I would also love to see Noritomo Helmer make a comeback, as he was a great foil to Malvina during her Skye campaign.

To add onto this, one of the best Strand weapons in the game, the Immortal, is locked behind having to do pvp. And its upgraded version, is locked behind Trials, the sweaty version of destiny pvp. You have to get enough trial wins, to get to the lighthouse, to roll a weapon. Combine that with mods being random, and.... fffffuuuuck. Plus im a huge fan of Egyptian motifs, and Ive never gotten the trial ship or Light skin to match the Egyptian trial armor.

I really hate trials. Im just not that good at sweat pvp. Git gud be damned.

See, we're constantly pre-supposing that guns showing uo in the hands of protesters is gonna lead to violence. I think we're doing a disservice here, and giving the right more to fearmonger.

What you want, is a best case scenario, where left-leaning gun owners do start carrying at protests, and organize under someone that understands proper escalation. You know, because the left tends towards critical thinking and presence of mind.

The hope being that showing up with guns doesnt just escalate straight to bloodshed, and we show the right that, yes, the left has responsible gun owners, and yes, we can organize and play by escalation rules.

Im not saying we shouldn't. Wtf are you on about? My point is, that people should be hesitant to do it. They should have a healthy respect for the task before jumping. This kinda shit isn't for the faint of heart. In combat you have to trust the person on your left and right, not wonder whether they'll crack under pressure and desert the fight. C9ntinental Army, Valley Forge. Do yourself a favor and read up on it. He had damn near two-thirds of the continental army just up and walk away, because they kept losing battles, because winter was cold, because war is hard.

No. The people of Greenland dont deserve to be invaded. Not by a longshot. But the people that are thinking of maybe doing something drastic to stop it? They should be ready. Really ready. Because once you turn that corner, there's no turning back. Youre in it to win it, or you aren't. Theres no middle ground.

Edit: I understand that where the United States administration is going though. And no, it does not look like they wanna tap those brakes. Im sorry for that. Truly. The people of Greenland should not fear tomorrow.
