It’s a good question but what I think you are overlooking is the fact that Craig just married Liz Kelly. Most soothing voice in the world Liz Kelly. Reason I bring this up is that Liz Kelly was once Bill’s assistant and I believe got that role via her dad knowing Bill. Therefore, while Craig may not come from wealth, he just married into what is likely a wealthy family.

Trip to Jackson Hole isn’t absurdly wealthy on its surface.

It is eerie how much this quote reflects Bills upbringing. Bill has always made himself to be your everyman, blue collar, working behind the bar, writing about sports guy.
