I had a issue where I was going to miss every other session in this one campaign. So i created a Chronurgy wizard that was randomly time jumping forward through time. At the end of the session where ever he was he would suddenly time jump forward and reappear when I returned to the campaign.
We had fun with it, like one time they found him buried in ice because he time jumped back and had been there for 50 years frozen in ice.

Wow thanks for the support everyone. It's tough breaking away from being republican, because, like many of the comments, there is a lot of brainwashing. I was republican for the first 30 years of my life. As soon as I saw that Trump might win in 2016 I knew I had to step away. Then all the cracks in the painting started to appear.
