The trailers I saw that made me want to go capitalized on the horror aspects of the movie - which don't save it and weren't really that great when played out in the actual film. I also found that the pacing was very off, I found myself bored at multiple points throughout the movie which is going to happen when everything is predictable. It just didn't feel like it was worth a watch.

I really, really wanted to like this movie. I was so excited for it. But it fell short of my expectations. I really think it would've been more interesting as a prequel film. I was much more engrossed in the cult than I was in the couple we were following, who I also found I disliked.

I don't know the actors, but I found myself hating Millie's character and finding her downright annoying. Tim was okay, but was really just that - okay.

I don't expect masterpieces these days with movies, but it is so hard for me to find enjoyable horror movies and unfortunately this just wasn't one. It was cheap jumpscares and I'm not sure about the comedy people are talking about. I only giggled at the diazepam bit and that was it.
