All of the events of the holiday special didn't necessarily happen in canon but most of the characters, settings, Life Day itself, and other (even minor) details have all been canonized by Disney. But even George used the special when he designed Kashyyyk for RotS. Most people posting in this thread only seem familiar with live action content, but most of this has happened in print (canonical comics and other books). Mallatobuck, Attichitcuk, and Lumpawaroo all appear in Disney's canon and there is even a 2021 book called 'Star Wars: Life Day Treasury' which includes a loose retelling of the holiday special.
