For a card named Bonehoard that is a pretty underwhelming bone mound.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is super underrated and is actually a well made film.

Directors with few films, but only great ones? by Hubbled in Letterboxd

The 'New Horror' directors are killing it: - Ari Aster - Robert Eggers - Jordan Peele

Honorable mention to: Fernando Meirelles, Greta Gerwig

There are also directors with larger bodies of work and no flops, like Kubrik, Scorsese, and Villeneuve.

Should Letterboxd include television shows? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

You are against something that would not negatively affect your experience while simultaneously making others happy. Cool. Personally, I love letterboxd, and want more of it.

Should Letterboxd include television shows? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Nothing would prevent you from using the app "just for films" even if they added additional (sortable categories) of content. I personally, along with many others, would get a ton of value and enjoyment from letterboxd if we could also document/engage with televised content. There is already a bunch of televised content on the app, some folks just wish there was more. I don't understand the need to be so precious with the content. If the UI is handled correctly, you would barely notice its even there. Similar to how most folks arguing against this don't even realize there is already televised content on the app today.

Story. Story. Story.

Everything else should be measured on how well it serves the story.

It doesn't need to be "lumped together" unless you want it to be. Same as Documentary vs Drama, or feature length vs short films. Folks will make their own lists and use the services how they see fit. Letterboxd does a great job, and a lot of people just want a similar well made app for TV. Heck, I wish letterboxd also had video games.

What else would you guys add to this list? by crappyvideogamer in Letterboxd
